We just visited Hush puppies store at Shipra Mall in Indirapuram Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh to buy formal shoes for my husband. We liked a pair but couldn't buy it because of the STORE MANAGER who came across as RUDE, PUSHY and most importantly INSINCERE.
We liked a pair and wanted to buy it but it seemed to have a pasting of sole issue and the finishing also seemed off. So we asked for another piece of the same design which was not available at the store so we asked if they could arrange it for us in a few days time and were willing to pay for it in advance. The girl dealing with us agreed and assured after checking that it will be delivered the next day. But the store manager kept on pushing us for the same defective piece saying that this particular design will have such issue and then finally said that there is no guarantee the fresh piece would not have same issue.(Which actually meant that Hush puppies cannot guarantee quality) and then said that he could not get us a new piece.
We feel Hush puppies is The brand for comfort and quality and we always buy shoes there specially work shoes because we have to practically spend the whole day in them. It was a pasting of sole issue with obvious shabby finishing. But that doesn't matter because as a customer I understand that a piece could turn out to be defective some times. It is the INSINCERE attitude of the store manager and his unpleasant personality which is the real issue for Hush puppies.
We can buy comfortable shoes at other brands too but what's sad is that we don't want to and still have to because of that store manger's RUDE, PUSHY and INSINCERE ATTITUDE and obnoxious personality.
