Hello, I am writing this anonymously, my people manager was earlier good or okay although since he got promoted, his ego, arrogance & high handedness has hit the roof, he's shouting at me, calling me names, demotivating me, humiliating me, & he's indulging in abuse in a very smart way, saying that it's his duty to improve me??? I had changed project a few months back & he's not ready to let me go. In fact, he initiated PIP to take the revenge to the next level. He has a lot of power & although everyone around knows what he's indulging in is wrong, they are not ready to help or call him out. Most managers in IBM gang up & feed on the victims. This affects productivity, the sad reality is that IBM is full of bad managers who don't have any work to justify their existence, so if one is the victim, there is no help, 99% are vultures who are searching for easy preys..
