I received email on 20th march 2022 from idfc bank giving a link to click and apply for insurance policy. as there was no terms and conditions mentioned on the email so i wanted to get more information on this policy.
i applied by sending sms message on the number provided in this email by the idfc bank.
instead of receiving any terms /conditions or any other details applicable on this policy i received sms within 5 minutes informing that policy is under consideration and amount of Rs. 2200 /- will be debited directly from my saving bank account which i hold at idfc bank.
as soon as i received this sms i contacted customer care of bank and informed that i cannot accept issuance of policy or deduction of money from my saving account. so i requested them not to make any deduction from my savings account without confirmation from myself. i also asked them to send me terms anc conditions of policy which i will study and if needed i will apply fresh in case it is required.
the amount of Rs. 2200/- was deducted from my saving bank account on 21st match 2022
since this day i am repeatedly calling customer care, relationship manager and branch manager of bank to refund my money but nothing has happened till today.
