Income Tax Department, India — Delay in Pan Number | |||
Dear Sir/Madam This is highly unprofessional attitude shown by the Income Tax Department when it comes t allotment of PAN Number. I have applied for the Pan Number on 27th of February 2015 via NSDL. My acknowledgement Number is [protected]. Its almost 35 Days and leave the Pan Card in a physical form the Pan number has not yet been allotted so that the same can be extracted from the Internet NSDL site. I mean its hard to understand what is the cause of delay in my case. I have called up the customer care number several times and they are good for nothing except to accept a complain lodging. The Last complain number being 4879438. Every Time you call up after 4 working days you get nothing but a suggestion to file a fresh complain and note down a new complain number. I have my job in waiting just because of this Pan delay. I want a resolution on an urgent basis or else please give me in writing that allotment of Pan is purely a discretion of Income Tax department and it can stop an Indian citizen having a Pan Card just because they feel like.
