Hello Sir/Madam,

My name is SUJATA TRIPATHY & My Pan card no is - "GAGPS7510R"

5th letter of my Pan no should be " T " but wrongly put " S ". While trying in income tax dept for link with adhar card its showing as wrong surname & first name. Request to please change the same. Please tell me process how need to be rectify.

This is to inform you that PAN's fifth character is derived from first initial of Last Name of PAN Holder.
In your PAN application vide Ack N-[protected] dated March 12, 2015, you have mentioned ""SUJATA"" as your Last Name and ""TRIPATHY"" as first name. Hence you have been allotted PAN with Letter ""S"" as fifth character in your PAN.
