Dear sir,
The Parul University is located at Limda, Vadodara, Gujarat is indulging in huge malpractices.

They have made compulsory for the students to purchase the blank booklet for writing practicals especially in Parul Institute of Engineering & Technology, Parul Institute of Technology, Parul Institute of diploma studies, Parul Polytechnic, etc. They charge about Rs. 100/- per booklet which may not be worth Rs. 30/-. The dean and all principals have suggested and are involved in this racket.

They either do not return or fine about 50% fine for the mobiles collected from the students. The mobiles are never returned back to students if it is costly.

They collect huge amount of donations.

They collect original documents from the students once admitted to any college of the university even though the admission committee has not allowed to do so.

Even the teaching level is degraded day by day. They do not have enough equipments in the laboratory despite collecting huge fees from the students.

They collect handsome portion of salary from faculties in the form of donation to Parul Arogya Seva Mandal (Limda, Waghodia, Dist. Vodadara, Gujarat) either through cheques or cash from their employees. They show full salary in salary slip but recovers large amount back through cheques or cash. If you check the salary depositied in the salaried account of the employees against the salary shown paid in their salary slip, you may find huge difference every month. You can understand that nobody can donate 20 to 50% of their salary to any trust.

The non-teaching staff members are required to give 'self ' cheque every month.

They also collects blank cheques from the faculties for 3 months notice pay in case they leave the job. They have also collected cheques from faculties who go for higher studies in advance for the bond period. They collect the money for double the bond period in the form of cheque in advance. As per rule they cannot collect double amount for study leave.

There are number of malpractices observed by this university.

I request to check all documents thoroughly during your raid. I also request to have interrogation/discussion with staff members in person in every department to collect details. Your are also requested sir to check salary accounts and salary slips for difference.

In my opinion, such universities should not be allowed to function or its charge should be taken by government
