Ref: IIFL foreclosure request #3427654
Raised the above foreclosure request on 22nd Dec’ 2021 and followed up on phone after a day to know when it would be fulfilled. The person who answered the call “Vaibhav Agarwal” said it takes max 15 days to service this request.
However, when I was expecting a foreclosure letter, I get an email on 3rd Jan’ 2022 saying the ticket is resolved with resolution that I have accepted to continue the loan with IIFL.
I responded back on the email and also called them to check how an institution can play such dirty tricks to fool customers. Now that the earlier ticket is set to resolved state, they want to raise another ticket today 4th Jan’2022 which they claim takes another 15 days.
Doesn’t this qualify to be an unethical way by the institution to gain few more days of heavy interest by the consumer?
If this is not going to get resolved within 7th Jan’ 2022 as committed by them on 22nd dec, I will find ways to report this incident to RBI for financial mismanagement and share the outcome here, so that it would help other consumers too.
