Sir,
I am a consumer of M/s. Sondhi Gas Agency, Saket, New Delhi (Consumer No.26296). I received a LPG cylinder against my booking on 25th October which was received short i.e. about 28 Kg. Besides the shortage, the Cylinder was leaking and the same was communicated to the Agency on 27th morning and they agreed to replace the cylinder within 2 hours time.

I regre to point out that till the time of wiriting this complaint neither any representative of the Agency visited my place nor replace the leaking cylinder.

    I have had Indane Gas connection for the past twenty years. My consumer number is 22195 and address is Flat 6F, 82/9E Ballygunje Place, Kolkata-700019.

    I am a senior citizen and remained away with my children in 2008 due to my ill-health. I had not ordered for gas in the past 10 months. But now I am back and need the gas cylinder very badly.

    My gas distributor, Nedus Distributor of 10/1 Bondel Road, Kolkata 700019, code no 99141361 has disconnected my connection by saying that I no longer subscribe to the gas.

    The distributor insists that I take a new connection.

    This is clear harrassment.

    Dear Sir,

    Sub: Cancellation of Booking of Indane Gas

    I have had Indane Gas connection for the past twenty seven years. My consumer number is SBI-06983 and address is 399, Sonari West, Road No. 8, Jamshedpur - 831011.

    I am a senior citizen and remained away with my son in London and had not ordered Indane Gas in the past one year since 09/04/2008 due to death of my wife in the month of June, ’08. But now I am back and need the gas cylinder very badly.

    My gas distributor, Shree Bajrang Indane, 8, Ravi Complex, Sonari, Jamshedpur code no 9190022 has disconnected my order booking of the gas.

    The distributor insists that my connection has cancelled and I cannot order now.

    This is clear harrassment.
    Respected Sir,
    Now I am 2day on 21.01.2010 registered an oneline booking gas, but punching a consumer No. is wrongly 16009.

    IT IS TO INFORM THAT THE ABOVE DISTRIBUTOR IS NOT REFILLING MY LPG CYLINDER ON BOOKING. MY C.N. IS 7690 AND DISTRIBUTOR P.H. NO.22772648, 22770528. 29OCTOBER WHEN I TRIED TO BOOK MY LPG CYLINDER ON LINE. I FOUND THAT IT WAS ALREADY BOOKED ON 25 OCTOBER 2010. THEN I CONTACT DISTRIBUTOR HE REFUSED TO GIVE ME LPG CYLINDER.THIS DISTRIBUTOR SEEMS TO SALE THE LPG CYLINDER IN BLACK (MARKET ON HIGHER RATE). PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AND REPLY TO ME AND TO SORTOUT MY PROBLEM .

      Dear Sir,

      I have been transferred from Thuckalay (Tamilnadu) to Kerala on official duty. I transferred my Bharat Gas connection to Pathanamthitta, my home dist.. As per their advise I contacted your outlet for a connection alongwith the transfer voucher as they had no outlet near to my home. However, I was informed the following by your outlet;

      (i) i will be treated as a new customer only, with deposit requirement at the current rate
      (ii)i must produce a proof of residence from state govt. revenue authorities (Ration Card, certificate from Taluk/Panchayat Office etc, )
      (iii)proof of transfer as ordered by my employer.

      Sir, I have been transferred to Kerala after a long span of 10 years and it is not possible for me to arrange for a residence proof from state Govt. authorities in the immediate future. However I have the following documents with me/I can produce the following documents as a proof of my residence;

      (i)Insurance Policy issued by Life Insurance Corporation of India :issued in the year 2006
      (ii)An employer's certificate stating my residential address.
      (iii)transfer voucher issued by M/s Bharat Gas Ltd, Thuckalay Outlet.

      I humbly request you to kindly clarify whether I would be able to obtain a LPG connection from your outlet at Aranmula, Pathanamthitta on the basis of the above documents ( LIC policy is acceptable as per the press release appeared in the HINDU some time back and the same is available in Bharat Gas's web site-kindly confirm). I am ready to make deposit as per your requirement.

      Kindly treat the matter as urgent as I have been surviving without cooking gas for nearly two months.

      lindane — transfer voucher

      I AM AN ARMY OFFICER PRESENTLY POSTED IN FIELD AREA AND MY WIFE IS RESIDING IN GURGAON, HARYANA. I HAD TRANSFER VOUCHER ISSUED BY ASC GAS AGENCY AT WELLINGTON, NILGIRIS, TAMILNADU.

      TODAY I APPROACHED GOLDEN GAS AGENCY AT PALAM VIHAR GURGAON TO ACCEPT THE TV.BUT I WAS INSTEAD TOLD TO GIVE A PHOTOCOPY OF THE VOUCHER TO BE VIRRIFIED BY THE GAS AGENCY WHICH HAD ISSUED THE VOUCHER.

      KINDLY CONFIRM WEATHER THE ACTION BY THE DISTRIBUTER IS CORRECT? IF NOT KINDLY INSTUCT THE DISTRIBUTOR TO CORRECTIVE ACTION.

      My LPG gas connection transfered from karnal(Haryana) to bhatinda(punjab). Now at bhatinda at Mann Gas service, they are unable to give me a connection due to unavailability of regulator. Since 28/03/2010, I daily go to the agency but getting the same answer.

      So, you pls provide the regulator to agency or give me the cylinder, I will myself manage the regulator.

        Sir/Madam,

        Iam an Indane customer at Thattarambalam, Mavelikara, Kerala.My cust ID is 14666. I have been associated with Coral Agencies, Mavelikara, Kerala.[protected], 2303171)

        I have booked for a gas cylinder on 15/09/08 and they supplied the same on 22/10/08. lack of intimation of supply we were not available at home.When I approached same day itself after 3pm directly to the above said distributors for immedeate delivery with my empty cylinder and they sent me back to my residence without delivering the filled cylinder.Again I contacted them on 24/10/08 and on 28/10/08 respectively for the same, but they told that they cannot give it. They will supply on later and didn't gave any confirmation. And more over the way of conversation to the customers is very poor and, in an irreverant manner. Even for booking also, customers have to keep on calling to their two lines ( they don't pick the call ontime), Kindly do the necessary action at the earliest and I want the acknowledgement to my mail id or to my below mentioned number.

        I totally agrre with Customer and still in 2010 the same condition exist. An intimation should be given with regard to the time and date of delivery.Please rectify this situation.Incase there is no intimation the cylinders will be delivered in Black.This simple measure on your behalf will go long way in alleviating the Customer misery.

          Dear Sir,

          My father Mr. S.C. Sharma (15/160 c-1 soronkatra shahganj, Agra U.P.)is a consumer since more than 18 years having C. No.- 'N-6374A' of 'Nishant Gas Service' 5/185-B, Ramnagar Shahganj Agra. Ph no.[protected]. Utter Pradesh.Since last year we are facing late LPG delivery problem several times.

          we have booked the cylinder on date 01/08/08 last, we have been informed the date of delivery 18/08/08, but they didn't do it.
          we took follow up but no positive result came out. today dt 27 Oct 08 we took follow up once more (17th time) from them, now we have been told the delivery date for tomorrow.

          I do not know how a family can manage its cookings by a cylinder for such a long time. I want to brought this to the notice of appropriate indane authorities for looking into the matter.

            Sub: How petty the PSUs under your Ministry can be?

            Dear Sir,

            I am an under privileged Senior citizen, having an INDANE LPG connection No 2884 being serviced by M/s Babu Agencies, Perumbavoor, Kerala.

            Like all LPG consumer located in backward locations, elsewhere in the country, I too have my cup woes, filled by erratic, irregular & no supplies, under weighed cylinders etc., etc, Outside the town limits the LPG Agency send there trucks with refill cylinders, that are exchanged with empty ones, en-route the main roads. People like us who are in the interior cart our empty cylinders to the exchange point and wait for supplies that never arrive on the pre-fixed days. And we keep carting cylinders up & down till our luck strikes. Thus those that are privy to advance information on supply dates or having residence on the main road will have their supplies leaving us naïves to up & down carting of cylinders.
            Having had enough of the travails I had been to the INDANE agency to-day and was very politely told by the Manager that he cannot help the supply position unless the country’s energy situation looks up, but he was quick to point out that my woes will continue till I transfer my connection from his agency to an HP gas agency, located at my village that alone has an exclusive mandate to service me. And he had displayed his advice in his notice board also.
            When approached the so mandated agency Tharamol Agency, Koovappady, its Manager was also very sweet & polite, but regretted his inability to accept local transfers as somebody high up in the ladder in HP has told him not to accept local transfers as the revenue on local transfers is not lucrative enough for them. A fall out of Globalization I may add
            Now I am thrown to an unenviable situation where two agencies under two public sector corporations of India are playing shylock with a senior citizen whose humble requirement is a LPG refill once in 40 days.
            As I can see no way out of this impasse I am approaching you sir, to tell me which door’ if not yours I should knock, to get a legitimate LPG refill once in 40 days at this old age.

            HP LPG — Irregular supply of domestic LPG

            I wish to draw your kind notice to the consumer no 609419,supply agecy Susmita Gas Gadgets(Ck-Market salt lake, sec-II,kolkata-91).Please verify this records according HP's record.
            I booked LPg on 8.02.2008 at 12:25 pm.Till now I could not receive the cylinder against the above booking which was booked through by computerised booking system.

            Indane LPG — No Supply for Senior Citizen

            I am a 76yr old widow living alone with a domestic help, as I get my essential food req outsourced I do not require gas for 90 days approx. I have a single cylinder, I did not have a problem for the last 5/6 yrs but recently my gas supplier (M/S R S Distributors, Bompus Road, Kolkata 700029 W.B.) has started this system of compulsory booking of gas within 90 days, therefore, I have been refused delivery as it has crossed the time. Being a senior citizen I request you to look into the matter so that I am able to get a uninterrupted supply in the future. My con No: V 16571.

            indane( domestic purpose) — there is no gas cylinder for senior widow citizens

            Dear sir/madam,
            My aunt is 65 years, widow. After her husband's death she got her ration card transferred from chennai to pondicherry. She was getting gas cylinders 4 months back. Recently they stopped giving. when asked they say that they won't give cylinders as she is single. She cooks for herself and eats though she is with us. she has got her seperate kitchen. please help us.

              I had applied for a refilled cylinder on 17.10.08 at Surjit Gas Agencies, R K Puram, Sector-6, near Delhi Jal Board, Delhi, Tel[protected] but the said cylinder is not yet delivered despite of repeated efforts but in vain.
              Request you to intervene and assist us in getting the cylinder immediately.

              I hereby complain that I have booked by my cell on-line on[protected] and I got reference No:200010 for my home gas cylinder. Now from 544112 I received a mesg to my cell that refill booking 200010 cancelled ie after 7 days.
              Please take this mail as complaint and inform me when I will get refill? The agency having landline[protected] is not responding or giving proper reply and delaying every time.

                I received my cylinder yesterday and realised that it was leaking. Since that moment i have been trying to call up my supply agency (Nangloi Gas Service, Nangloi, Delhi) but phones are continuously busy. Even the emergency and the Indane helpline numbers are not being answered.
                Once it was attended with auto response system on 25611031 helpline number and complaint no.2 on 24th October'08 was allotted and disconnected thereafter. Since then, it has not been attended. After several trial, I got the number of Mr Kalicharan of this agency at around 8.10 pm and he responded by saying that call tomorrow in the office and lodge your compaint and not to worry. Even I gave him my consumer no.NG23321.

                But till now, such as serious leakage problem is not attended.

                May I request the concerned autohority to take some concrete steps to solve such problems.

                Indane has the worst costumer care and service department.

                  I booked a gas cylinder on 21-10-08.
                  My customer no :55888 from VISHWAMBHARA ENTERPRISES, Shop no 40/1, Assaye road Banglore:560042.
                  When i went to agency to book a cylinder. The agency claims that their is shortage of staff so they asked me to come and collect the cylinder. We inform that we are ladies& i am senior citizen. How can a senior carry so heavy cylinder? They are not ready to listen. Isnt it the duty of he agency to supply gas refill cylinder at the customer residencial place.The agency also claimed that a customer extra money for the delivery boys to deliver the booked gas. The phonelines are being kept on hook. Why cannot be this agency be closed . Nearly full shivjinagar and other surronding area comes under this agency. The agency is not maintained well. Pls take some action against the agency. So it will help many consumer like me.

                  I booked a gas cylinder on 19-09-08 . My customer no :10186 from Margherita gas supply . P.O. Margherita . Dist. Tinsukia . Assam.
                  When i went to agency to collect the cylinder on 05-10-08. The agency claims that their is shortage of gas cylinder so they asked me to pay and collect the cylinder on 07-11-08 .So I deposit the amount on sameday . Isnt it the duty of the agency to supply gas refill cylinder at the customer residencial place.We have to collect the refill cylinder from the gas agency always from last few years and now they are collecting money from customer approximately one months in advance and also not supplying the cylinder as per their schedule time dueto which we the customer are facing harrasment and exterme shortage of cylinders .The shortage causes consumer to use others sources such as wood and coal for cooking and personaly I am now using this sources instead of having gas connection and we know that there is no shortage of LPG in our country but our distributor shows extreme shortage of LPG . 'The telephonic complains to the Consumer redressal and greviences forum, Tinsukia are also given but the concern authority are not taking any action against Indane Distributor, Margherita . The phonelines of our distributor are being kept on hook. Now we want a fruitful action against given distributor such that we can get the supply of gas cylinder consistently and at our doorstep as per companies rules and regulations . Why cannot be this agency be closed if they are unable to run the agency for lack of finance and shortage of staff/delivery boys to deliver the refill cylinder to cusumer doorstep . Nearly full Margherita and other surronding area comes under this agency. The agency is not maintained well. Pls take some action against the agency. So it will help many consumer like me.

                    I booked for a Indane gas connection at M/s Vijay Gas Service, A/377, Koelnagar, Rourkela-14 on 18.05.2007. A sum of Rs150/- was also deposited by me towards Inspection of ISI LPG Stove / Hot plate by mechanic. No body was inspected for a long period than I rushed to the Gas center. They replied your connection has been approved, after submitting the residential proof submit the full amount and take the connection.
                    Mean while my nephew was became serious and I compelled to take him to Vellore for further treatment where I stayed for one month. For the second time when I went to the gas center and wanted to submit the amount and the residential proof the lady in the counter told me to meet the owner. On the same day I met the owner who told me that 'Your connection has been canceled' I returned back with empty hand.
                    Let me know to whom I should put my complaint.

                    I have an connection at petrolium gas services. This connection is on my mother's name and addressed #1402/1, shanti nagar karnal-132001. My is now travelling as a visitor in New Zealand and still alive and I have all avidence for her presence. But Owner (dushayant gas service, kaithal road, karnal) said me that first bring your before us after that we will give you gas cylender. I have all proof but they are not agree. They didn't told us about that rule if gas holder will travel outside anywhere they will stop our connection. They should have told us that about that rule. But they didn't told us. They aren't giving me gas cylender and selling my cylender on black to other customer. I am in tenstion. what should I do without gas cylender. They also heart me by saying that I am selling my cylender on black. It isn't fair. Please stop that and help me as soon as possible.                       Sir,
                      I am a consumer in above gas agency having consumer number 6288. On 15/10/08 I had approached them for cylinder booking and booked the same on that day after giving them address and ID proof . usually they are asking for one week time for delivery. After one week today when I approached them for delivery they are asking for affidavit for address proof, ID proof and some other oaths.
                      For affidavit customer has to pay rupees 150/- and the stamp paper cost rupees 10/-.And above all the employed coustomers have to take even one day leave for this.
                      Indane gas might have asked them to confirm the right customers. But for this the genuine customers are suffering.
                      It is really harasing and should be stopped at once.

                      Dear Sir/M'am

                      I am an inhabitant of Assam, District- nagaon, Hojai, Pin 782435. Here a gas agency named(TRIMURTI GAS AGENCY) not only our family but 90% of the masses in this town are facing the problem of Indane gas. Here the people do not get the gas cylinder regularly in time. We have to book it 60 - 70 days before getting the gas. However, they do not guarantee that they aould give the gas. These gas are sold to the cab drivers so that they might use it as fuel. They sell it at very high rates, thereby enableing them to earn a lot of money, but we the people suffer ver much. They sell the gas to the common people at grey rates(approx 600-700) for a 12.7 kg cylinder which is illegal. This is a small town and the people ar einnocent and are unware of the consumer rights. If you look into the matter, the living of many poor people would be saved. This gas agency is a monopoly gas agency thereby it threatens people of not supplying gas in time.

                      This is a complain of sheer black mailing, misbehaving and giving threat to costumers by Dwarka Indane gas service, the owner of this gas agency is mr Gajraj Soni. yesterday when i went there to book my gas as per twenty one days gap then he said that he will not book it and when i asked for the complain book then he threaned me that he will file complain against me and when i asked him what complain he will file then he said that he will ask his lady employee to file complain against me for misbehaving with her. this is sheer blackmailing. this gas agency never provide even full gas as per the indane rule (14.2Kg gas) when ever the delivery boy come to deliver there is always 4 to 5 kg gas less in the cylinder.

                      Now a days it is becoming tortureous to have a gas booked and these people are so bold that they are just not afraid of any one. please do something against them so that they stop misbehaving and threatening custmers.

                      Here i do not like to disclose my true identity as he will then trouble us more. he is a goonda type person.

                      I am the consumer of Domestic LPG gas connection of Indane, my consumer number is A38865.

                      My Dealer is S.W.C.S Alaka in bhubanewar state : Oriisa.

                      The dealer required some documents for address proof, i have visited the respected dealer with all supprtive documents, but they are harrasing unnecessary to me and also not doing the documents verification.

                      As i am residing outside of orrissa so i am visiting orissa for short span of time, within that time limit i visited thrice to my respective dealer but they are not listening anything.

                      I am hereby requesting you to be kind enough and interfere in this matter and take necessary action, so that my Address will be verified with all supportive documents and cylinder will be delivered to my home.

                      An early action will be highly appreciated.

                            I am the consumer of your indane gas under the distributer Prachi Agencies, Mangalabag, cuttack-1. Ph.:[protected]/2414842. Tin-[protected] since last 18+ years (Consumer No.: 08011). But since last 2-3 months, I am not getting my Cylinder regularly. Though I have 2 cylinders as I have a joint family; reqd one cylinder in every 12 days, the distributor is unable to provide a single cylinder even after a long days of booking. We are facing a lot of difficulties in cooking. They are blackmarketing the cylinders reqularly & harrash the consumers.

                            Pl. take needful action to solve the problems at the earliest for the betterment of almost all the consumers under this distributor.
                            ATUL gas agency of Rajkot, Gujarat does not supply the cylinders in time since years. They do not pick up the phone even and when a customer visits, no satisfactory answer is given.The mobile number given is always kept switched off.

                                    Hello Sir,

                                    I am using Indane gas domestic LPG Cylinder since April'2004 with double cylinder. I am a T.U.C.S customer of Periyar Nagar branch, Chennai. I havea received a re-filled cylinder on 15th Oct 2008 after 20 days time of my booking. Now when i approached the dealer for booking for refill order, they are not accepting my booking, as "REFILL BOOKING HAS TO BE DONE ONLY AFTER 21 DAYS OF DELIVERY OF PREVIOUS CYLINDER". So i have to wait till November 1st week to refill booking.

                                    Usually the utilization of one filled-up cylinder for a family of 4 members will come for around 35 to 40 days. If above being the condition for delivey/booking of the cylinders by the distributors (20 days for delivery of filles cylinder and 21 days more for wait time for booking), we won't have the gas for cooking for around 5 to 10 days time.

                                    Could you please look into the issue and sort it out at the earliest for the welfare and benefit for the society.

                                    Hello Sir,

                                    I am using Indane gas domestic LPG Cylinder since 15 years with double cylinder. I am a customer of vijayanagar, manuvana branch, Bangalore. I have received a re-filled cylinder on 9th jan 2010 after 20 days time of my booking. Now when i approached the dealer for booking for refill order, they are not accepting my booking, as " AFTER 21 DAYS OF DELIVERY OF PREVIOUS CYLINDER". ONCE THEY SAY IT IS 20 DAYS, LATER 25 DAYS NOW THEY ARE SAYING IT IS 30 DAYS.

                                    Many times even after booking they say we have not booked, and make us to book once again after 1 week, by this way they delay another 1 week, they doesn't respond properly.

                                    Could you please look into the issue and sort it out at the earliest for the welfare and benefit for the society.

                                      I am Mahesh P N now writing this complaint on behalf of my father Mr. G Na rayanan Nair, Pulickal House Adimaly P O, Idukki Dist, Kerala State having the consumer No: 5469 with Geevee Gas, the agency of Indane gas. They had made a minimum limit of 40 days to book a cylinder and thereafter is not supplying the gas after even 60 days. We are not able to book the cylinder over phone. Nobody is picking up the phone and it will ring everyday.

                                        I am a LPG customer in north Delhi and my LPG supplier is Jahangirpuri Gas Service-Jahangirpuri Delhi-33

                                        He is not supplying LPG gas smoothly, mostly supply what we have to get within 21 days, he give us in 28 to 35 days

                                        although he has a lot of stock always available, instead of to complete regular customer supply he and his hawker mostly doing busy to sale

                                        LPG in Black Market, if any needy person required cylinder in before 21 days then they tell us law of IOC company about not to supply before

                                        21 days, then whatever stock he is keeping, can he sale in Black market even same needy customer get offered from their hawker supply in Rs.700

                                        is this according to law or lawful.

                                        Secondly, they are now doing a survery with LPG Suraksha Hose pipe & Rs.190, we have already a new pipe but another govt. company, that is. HP

                                        recomonded, then he said purchase only indane pipe other wise we will not supply to you any cylinder from today onward, who has give him the wright ?

                                        HP is also a goverment concern pipe should be safe and new, this is not a monopoly to anyone to force anyhow purchase your pipe

                                        when we are more careful then you about our safety, this kind of buisness activity is illegal, if you and your action team or management

                                        will not stop those people to do their benficial buisness upon threatened for stoping LPG Supply then I will go to Consumer Court,
