Dear sir/madam,
How can a bank withdraw a basic feature/service / right of the credit card customer to have a physical statement on a monthly basis?
How can bank stop this service and compel and cause inconvenience to its customers?
What if the customer is not tech savvy / not having regular internet facility / not have a computer or access to the internet service? Are they not being deprived of their basic right to have a physical statement monthly? You are compelling them to to to cyber cafe to download the copy of the statement?
These physical statements at time are considered as proof of residence. Online statements are not acceptable unless authenticated by the bank.
Can the bank ombudsman look into this matter and direct the banks not to deprive the customers of the basic facility of the monthly statement in physical form mailed to the registered address?? Was this information helpful? |
