[Resolved] Indusind Bank — opening of saving bank account | |||
My brother (Mr. Unique goyal) applied for the opening of a saving bank account with indusind bank. The officials of the bank provide the details that they want a cheque for the amount of rs. 20, 000/- just for the security purpose and that we can withdraw that amount immediately after the opening of the bank account and the account will be opened within 5 days. We have received a message from the bank on 14th september, 2017 that your acc. Number[protected] have been reserved under "my account my number" scheme and our account have been debited with rs. 20000/- on 20th september, 2017. Now its been several days we have not been responded by the bank officials. Further we are receiving the calls from the indusind head branch office that your signs are not proper on the documents and cheque and the minimum required cheque amount was rs. 25000/-. We want to know from the bank that if signatures are not valid then how would be the amount of rs. 20000/- withdrawn from the account and this was the responsibility of then banking official to tell us that they need a cheque of rs. 25000/-, why they accepted a cheque of rs. 20000/-.
