This is a case of harassment, it is more than month and half i applied for a account opening with them and i was told that the account will be opened in 3-4 working days, since then i am getting calls from Gaurav my relationship manager to open a FCNR fixed deposit, otherwise he will not make my account fully operational . Every day they come up with new answer, first they said everything will be done online, then it was they need KYC documents, i speeded that up and all was managed from UK to India in one week time, even COVID was there, then the next point came that because of Covid they cannot dispatch, i called all the courier services they use and i was told they all are working, when i went back to bank with this answer they came up with new excuse that backlog is there, when i asked when is the date, no date was given. I have all recorded conversations and I have raised this with RBI now. Add to this when i first called customer care i was told everything will be done online, then the branch guy Gaurav Gupta Sector 23 branch, keep harassing me and added his as Relationship manager to me forcefully and then i started getting calls that get a FD done, I have not got a response of even a single email, I have about 100 emails, and when I call them the Gaurav always says get an FD done, then only things will move .
