[Resolved] Indusind Bank — Unauthorized credit card transaction for 5 times on different dates even after raising dispute and FIR for first two transaction. | |||
Unauthorized IndusInd Credit card frauds multiple times. Background: On[protected] I had blocked my credit card number ending with 1473 suspecting a fraud transaction and I received a confirmation/acknowledgement from the bank on the same. On[protected] I called the customer care to recheck on the card status which was blocked and as confirmed by your executive that the card was blocked and the replacement card is yet be dispatched. One of the question here is how can bank generate a new card without customer consent? Situation 1: Now on 7-7-2021 the day after, I receive a call from this number[protected] stating that two transaction has been made through your credit card number ending with 3786 details below. As confirmed by the executive on 6/7/2021 the card is yet to be dispatched, here how can the transaction happen without dispatching the card and activating or acknowledged by the customer, especially in this scenario where the card is blocked for a fraud suspicion. Transaction 1 on the card ending with 3786 - Rs. 50, 498 (Transaction ref no. T41538) Transaction 2 on the card ending with 3786 - Rs. 50, 498 (Transaction ref no. T95993) Action taken: 1. Immediately I called the customer care to verify and the executive confirmed the transaction, though I have not placed the request for replacement card I had asked the executive to block and seize all my account since this is a clear fraud transaction as the card has not reached me nor dispatched by the bank. 2. Filed an FIR (FIR reference no. 0174/2021) with Cyber Crime on 8-7-2021 as guided by the bank. Situation 2: Even after raising a dispute for a fraudulent transaction which took place dated[protected]. I had clearly asked the bank to freeze all my credit accounts but today (22/7/2021) I received a call from this number (+91 [protected]) and the person named Elias Bhaskar asking for confirmation on the transaction which happened on new card (9020) which I'm absolutely not aware of. I have not requested for the new card nor informed by the bank about the new card nor I received this card. Details as mentioned by the customer care exec, furnished below: Transaction 1 on the card ending with 9020: Rs. 48, 480 (Transaction ID T30923) Transaction 2 on the card ending with 9020: Rs. 35, 350 (Transaction ID T31025 ) Transaction 3 on the card ending with 9020: Rs. 5, 025 (Transaction ID T36041) I have taken the credit card statement which is received today and same is attached for further investigation. Action taken: 1. Immediately called the customer care to verify the above said transaction and the transaction is confirmed. Now you can clearly say this is a pure negligence from the bank.
