I am writing regarding an IRCTC ticket booking transaction for which the payment was successfully debited from my bank account, but the ticket was not booked.
The transaction details are as follows:
IRCTC Transaction ID: [protected]
Transaction Date: 18 September 2026
Amount Debited: Rs 9, 875.85
Train: ZAD HIND EXP (12130)
Journey: Tatanagar Jn to Pune Jn
Class: AC 3 Tier (3A)
Payment Mode: Google Pay / UPI
UPI Transaction ID:[protected]
Google Pay Transaction ID: CICAgPiU9dKgAw
Bank: State Bank of India
Account: Ending 9154
IRCTC has confirmed that the above transaction was a settlement-failed transaction and that IRCTC did not receive the payment authorization. IRCTC has also informed me that if the amount was debited, it will be automatically refunded to the same account by the concerned bank/payment gateway.
However, my Google Pay transaction shows that Rs 9, 875.85 was successfully debited, with the payment recipient shown as AutoPe Payment Solutions Limited / IRCTC Autopay.
AutoPe's website currently advertises instant refunds within 30 minutes for failed IRCTC Autopay transactions.
I therefore request you to kindly:
Verify the above transaction.
Confirm whether the amount of Rs 9, 875.85 is currently pending with AutoPe/payment gateway.
Confirm whether the refund/reversal has already been initiated.
If the refund has been processed, please provide the refund/reversal reference number and expected credit date.
Since the ticket was not booked, I request that the full deducted amount be refunded to my original SBI account.
