We went to Bhimtal during Diwali 2018. During my Lake tour we have visited to J&K Handloom House, Bhimtal & purchased Kashmir Ice Kidi (so called made of raw pashmina) with five other gifts. We have paid Rs13, 200 for it and they are promised that we will get refund of 75% plus five additional gifts on returning the main Kashmir blanket upto the period of 21 months before 5 years. So practically I can do till February 2022

Now after calling them so many times, they are declining to receive it nor giving me any answer on the phone calls.
Now, I think these are all frauds & I am cheated by shopkeeper. I believe their stories of refund the amount after certain duration is completely bluff. I request Govt. of Kasmir & Uttarakhand should take very strict steps to stop these illegal activities in a tourist place in the interest of tourist. This is also a shame for Government. At-least consumer court should take very strict action against them.
