[Resolved]  Jain Cars Vellore — worst service

Address:Vellore, Tamil Nadu, 603002
Website:www.jainscar.com

I am dilip prabhakar t, an owner of kuv 1oo k8 vehicle. Last year on june 2018, my car met with an accident where i left my vehicle in jain cars, konavattam for insurance claims. There was lot of lethargic work seen in the body shop work (Eg. Workmen failed to fit the fog lamp assmeby which broken during the claim). That's another story. After the claim, i felt some vibration in the engine and steering areas and uneasiness in shifting the gears especially in 2nd and 3rd gear. So i approached jain cars, chengalpet to sort out this issue where the service man, mr. Shanmugam advised me to change my car's clutch assembly stating that the reason behind the noise was due to damage in the clutch. Soon after his advise, i requested him to change it. But he didn't responded me stating that the garage is busy whenever i ask for the clutch swap. After few days, i decided myself to move on with other dealer instead of begging behind them.

Even though the zulekha motors, ambattur is pretty long for me, i was at least happy that they replaced the clutch assembly in 3 days. But the story didnt end here. Even after changing the advised spares, i again felt the same complaint. Considering the distance, i again came to jain cars to diagonise and arrest the issue, but whenever i proceed, i was rewarded with greatest disappointment and deceit. Let me explain it in brief.

On january 03 2019, i went to jain cars, chengalpattu and engineer mr. Ramdoss attending me and shared my problems with him. I tried calling him for the test-drive to explain my problems with the vehicle. But unfortunately, he is not interested in coming with me instead he shaked my car twice and told there was issue with suspension. Then around 3 pm. Mr. Muthu from jain cars, chengalpattu have called me and told there was a issue with link rod and replacing the same will arrest all the issues. I trusted his word and told him to proceed with the spare swap. And around 6.30 pm, again the same guy told me that after changing the link rod, the sound didn't arrest so we are going to change the steering box assembly which will cost around 40k. I was shocked to hear this. So i went to the showroom and shock to know the following facts.

1. None have performed the test drive with my vehicle.
2. Mr. Muthu has no knowledge about what i told to mr. Ramdoss, who attended me.

I decided to complaint about these issues to the manager mr. Mahendran and when he drove the vehicle, he felt the noise and he suggested me that there is the issue with gear box and damage in the silencer and he suggested me to replace those spares. Since i hold bumper to bumper insurance, they directed me to jain cars, konavattam where mr. Saravanan attended my vehicle. The vehicle was sent to vellore on feb 5th and the ro number alloted on feb 12th. Till today, there was not even a single call from insurance end. Every single thing was told by mr. Saravanan stating that surveyor is not feeling well. Taking 20 days, finally saravanan concluded that there was no noise in vehicle and the damage seen in silencer is not gonna affect the vehicles efficiency.

I would have called around 75 times in between these 20 days where he answered me only 4 times. Whenever he says that he'll get back in 5 minutes, it will be 2 days to catch him again. The way he responded, his language and his support towards the insurance advisor health was awesome. I felt ashamed of calling him again and again and this type of behavior, people wont show to a beggar. Great reward for buying mahindra car.

After that, the vehicle transferred to repair shop, where mr. Sarath took anothe 8 days for diagnosis and at last he came with a solution that lubrication of suspension needs to be done to arrest the noise and break pads needs to be replaced.in the eager to see my vehicle without noice, i accepted his advise and changed the so called spares. I asked him to test the vehicle with a ride and he told me that he hav drove the vehicle for 8 kms and vehicle seems to be noiseless.

My vehicle was delivered on 6th of march and the splendid surprise is there was no change in the complaint for which i left my vehicle. Moreover some more complaints added as a bonus like tyre damage, fuel lid opener collapse wioth bannet opener. After facing all these issues, i decided to move with complaining on mahindra and i called hamesha customer care and explained the scenario.

And all of the sudden, there was the surprise!!!

I got the call from jain cars manager mr. Mahindran. Very first time, people from jain cars spoke to me very responsibly. He assured me that on a good will, his dealors decided to change the steering box and its assembly which was initaially suggested by muthu for 40k in free of cost. After 2 days, the same guy called me and said there was nothing issue with steering box and they sort out the problem by replacing some other spares for which i need to pay rs. 9k. After hearing this, i have came to the clear conclusion that jain cars are intentionally cheating the customers with unknown mechanical terms.

So hereby i have decided not to take my vehicle without getting answers for the following reasons.

1. What is the need to keep my vehicle for 30 days.
2. Who will bare the expenses which incurred during this 30 days.
3. Why there vast difference between the diagnosis of problems between jain cars konavattam and chengalpattu.
4. Why i have not provided with the alternate vehicle where other dealers provide.
5. Even today, after all this issue, mr. Mahindran haven't responded my calls (More than 7 times).
6. Is there any other special reason i should have more than this to suit them.
7. How come mahindra is encouraging this type of attitude form its delaer towards its cutomer (After complaining to mahindra, nothing has happened till date)
8. I have replaced clutch assembly, link rod and other spares and now its some other spare which arrested the noise. So, who will incur the charges i spent because of wrong diagnosis.
9. The language they (Managers, engineers) speak, the attitude they show, the lethargic work they do, are these comes under mahindra customer handling training?
10. On what basis youre recruiting mr. Arunachalam, mr. Mahindran for customer support. These guys don, t even attend the phone calls.
