I wish I could add the screenshots of my chats with one of your executives. I have the screenshot if you could provide me an email I can attach the same. I just had one concern, that I did not want my number to be visible on my profile. To which the executive replied saying “you cannot be thinking as per your convenience” “paid members should have paid for this and they should have the right to your number” “if you would have paid member then you could have raised this question”
From this I understand,
1) if I am not a paid member you do not care for my privacy or personal rights ..
2) I can’t think for my convenience
3) I do not have the right to decide who should have my number, just because someone has paid you that gives you the right to distribute my number, my consent is not important
This was way to personal, all he could have said was sorry we do not have that option.
Upon telling that I will take this issue to senior management that you are talking unprofessionally to which he replied saying “you can’t threaten an employee, threatening is a crime”
His name was Mayank.
And is this how you treat people on your portal. I had a different kind of respect for your brand but this has left me not trusting in the brand. If a portal doesn’t care for my respect and privacy doesn’t make me feel comfortable to be a part of.
