Jet Airways — Airport supervisor threatening customer of offloading him flight | |||||
Dear Jet airways Team, I am extremely sorry that I had been enforced to write this complain, but the very poor experience I went through it today at the Mumbai international Airport was unmatched during my last 10 years of travel, which left me with no option, I would like to complain the staff Supervisor Ankita Tiwari, I came with excess in my luggage of 42.5 KG against 30 KG is the limit, the counter staff mention that she is not aware exactly how much KG I need to pay, moving from lack of knowledge the ground staff had, finally after checking with some people she mentioned that this will cost me around 14, 000 INR, I couldn’t afford to pay this amount as I was running out of money in my credit card and I only hard around 8, 000 INR max, I tried to explain the situation but the ground staff didn’t listen, I took some of my staff, including bags, and some personal staff out at the check-in counter as I didn’t have any option and I decided to leave them and finally my total weight was 37.5 KG, which will cost me around 7500 INR, I have went to casher and paid the amount, then when I came to counter to confirm and take my ticket, I forget my payment bill, when I come back to get it, I found the supervisor Ankita Tiwari asking me to remove my staff which I left due to lack of money out check-in counter area and she start to threating me that she will off load me from the flight if I didn’t do so, I went nervous when she threating me over and over again that she will offload me from the flight, instead of helping me and trying to see what kind of situation I went through leaving my personal staff behind, I was so disappointed and asked her for her supervisor again and again, she kept insisting that her supervisor not available, and at boarding gate, after I insisted, she took me to her supervisor, at the check-in counter, her supervisor was not at check in counter, I have complained to her supervisor about her, and she advised me to raise complain on website, and she confirmed that no one is allowed to be off loaded from air flight unless there are medical reason . In summary threating customers that they will be off loaded is against the law and not acceptable by any means and I need your help to investigate this case and take necessary action, I know that JET AIRWAYS is great airlines, however those kind of situations are not helping and getting customers to be frustrated, I wish the airline staff know what kind of situation the people on move are going through, and they should not judge people because they never know what people are going through, I hope this email reach someone who will really look into the case and revert back with corrective action to not allow airline staff to threat customers in this rude and unprofessional way, thank you so much and will look forward to hear from you Details of incident Name: Ankita Tiwari Position: Supervisor Date : 7 Feb 2016 Time of Complain (7:30 PM – 8:15 PM) IST Place: Mumbai International Airport – Checking counter Flight: 9W 0564 Customer Name : Ahmed ZEIDAN Was this information helpful? | |||||
