This is about flawed refund policy.
I had booked return ticket from Indore to Delhi and back. Due to some unforeseen reasons I am not able to travel on onward journey on 13 Sep from Indore to delhi. I requested for cancellation but was informed that both sides including return would also get cancelled. On requesting to allow return journey I was refused stating airline rules.
I then requested for refund of ticket of atleast return flight which again was refused.
Without cancelling the onward journey ticket and being a No Show would again automatically cancel my return ticket.
Moreover this ticket would now be available for other passengers to book. All this when I want to travel on return ticket .
I had spoken to customer care in detail on 06 Sep but to no avail.
My PNR no was PKSDOT.
I had also sent a mail but not received a reply..
Copy of mail sent to jetairways is appended below

This is in reference to my call to guest care executive on 06 Sep at 1900hrs. I have a tkt PNR PKSDOT. Due to some unforeseen reasons I will not be able to travel from Indore to Delhi on 13 Sep 15. I am travelling under alternate arrangements later. However it would like to return utilising the tkt from Delhi to Indore on 21 Sep 15.
I had requested to cancel my one way tkt from Indore to Delhi to which I was informed that even my return tkt would be cancelled.
On telling them I would not be able to travel I was told that even my return tkt would be cancelled on being a no show at Indore for my onward journey. When I still want to travel on return it is not fair to cancel.
My request in the priority is as under:-
1. Cancel my tkt from Indore to Delhi.
2. Allow me to travel for Delhi to Indore after canceling my onward tkt. This tkt would be availabale for other passengers to book and you don't stand to loose any money..infact earn even more
3. If you are not allowing me travel on return tkt when I actually want to travel then in all fairness the seat should be kept vacant and not sold again. This I say because you are cancelling the tkt when I actually want to travel.
Kindly revert with favourable resolution as this arbitrary policy is not fair and exploits the passengers. Business is OK but exploitation is not.
Talking about business then also if you allow me to cancel onward tkt it will be available for sale to other passengers and moreover at a later date closer to the journey the rates would be even higher. So your airline stands to gain. Therefore, allowing me to cancel will be business wise profitable as well as your airlines would be known as a Genuinely Concerned about Passengers and above all a Fair Airlines.
Non-resolution would force me to raise this arbitrary exploitative customer policy to Consumer Forum.
