The undersigned is writing this email with deep regret.
I was supposed to take a flight from BOM to COK, on 22nd August, 2015 at 8:30 am. I have reported at the boarding counter on or before 7:45 am. I was asked to wait by the staff and he called a lady supervisor. By the time she came and updated my reporting time in your system it was 7:55 am and I was denied to get the boarding pass. the airline staff has reported the reporting time as 7:55am, which is 10 mins after the allowed time. It should alleged that the staff delayed the reporting time by unnecessarily entering into argument. The afflicted doesn't have any solid proof for the reporting time. I was forced to change the flight to 1:35 pm which has attracted additional cost and time. Moreover, there is no reimbursement for the cancelled ticket.
Please note that I just had to board in, didn't even had a luggage to check in.
Once they made sure that boarding cannot be provided they started apologizing which doesn't make any sense. They even promised that new ticket could be taken against the cancelled one as i didn't travel by the same. But the ticket counter staff didn't agree for that. When i asked for it another lady supervisor came and assure if i write to the customer care, the problem would be addressed. I got one reply from the which was not favorable. later, i had to send them 4 reminders and they went in vain.
it should be noted that Jet Airways have been accused of similar complaints by customers.
Kindly consider this as a complaint and the afflicted requests for compensation.
