I was 15 minutes late to the last podium. I had completed my check-in almost two hours prior to departure. There was an entire queue in the only 'ladies frisking area in Chennai airport' . I had to wait for my chance, wait till they provided me appropriate trays to keep my belongings. All that was to be done was to clear the security-area and stand at the podium. I wasn't allowed to enter my flight, saying that the doors were closed. They knew I was coming. To which they retaliated, we searched for you. I asked them if they tried the frisking area. They had not. I missed this flight and subsequently my international transit flight. In those 15 minutes I tried persuading them, they wouldn't listen. Then they ran away. There wasn't even one Jet Airways' staff in the proximity. After a lot of attempts, they tried to help. They asked me to pay 150% of the price of my flight ticket as ' liability charges'. This is so unheard of. Seeing as there wasn't any outcome of this. I booked another flight as I had no place to stay in Chennai. I missed my transit flight. Due to their unhelpful nature, or more noticeably obstinate behavior, I had to run around trying to find my way out. I did not have a meal the entire day. My entire day got wasted. I bought another set of tickets.It was for a domestic flight. I could thereby avail only domestic baggage allowance. I had 10k excessive baggage to pay for. I was offered no help nor compensation throughout my journey. And they kept reminding me it was all my fault, after they found out I was travelling alone and I had nowhere to stay. I want them to compensate for the unexpected expenditure and the discomfort in my journey due to their fault. They did not perform any action because I was alone, the only one left while the 160 others had boarded timely.They kept inquiring if there were more to come, assured there weren't, they felt one passenger was no less than trash. Walk all over them. When I was reasoning with them, they had their bring it on attitude. I was exasperated, I realized my situation was an entertainment for them. One of the staff argued with me and then said now 'your turn'. I had no clue how to proceed in this situation and there wasn't any helpline. All of the staff were very uncooperative. I would also like to know how they would want to compensate, apparently they have no such intention.
