On the 21/11/17 i was due to travel from lhr to bom, in order to arrive at the airport on time (I live 120 miles away from the airport) i had to leave 6.5 hours before my flight. However, i was told 3 hours before my travel that the plane was delayed by 12 hours! This meant that whilst i was travelling to the airport i received notification that my flight was delayed and that i would only be arriving at my destination a whole day late. When i finally got to the airport it was chaos to check in as there was a queue around the airport that took an hour and a half to get through. I was offered no meal vouchers or reimbursed for the fact that i had to pay for accommodation due to the flight delay. I was offered no compensation for the additional expenses that i had to pay as a result as your airlines fault or even for fact that i lost a whole day of my holiday. Further to this the inflight entertainment was broken and i had to endure the majority of the flight with no entertainment. I had also asked the air hostess for duty free which i received an answer after 3 hours, this infuriated me so much that i decided not to purchase one of your items. I also pre-booked my meal which i did not receive and only received disgusting veg food which i did not eat. This whole process led me to have to book a hotel in mumbai when i reached as i had missed my pre booked taxi from the airport. This whole journey was frankly the worst experience i have ever encountered whilst travelling and it is safe to say that i will not travel with the airline again.
