My name is dr. Pavel daniel mesaros, and i have booked a trip to india with the edreams agency on the date of 02/11/2018, booking reference: [protected];
Departure: dublin to mumbai with aer lingus and jet airways (Dublin to manchester, uk with aerlingus ei/etkt 589 [protected] and from manchester to mumbai with jet airways 9w/etkt 589 [protected]) on 13/12/2018
Return: mumbai to dublin with jet airways with 1 stop in paris 9w/etkt 589 [protected] on 20/12/2018.

With less than 24h i have tried to do my online check-in which can't be done only through edreams application. Unsuccessful… i have tried to contact edreams team by phone…unsuccessful, as well, nobody answered…i went early in the morning in dublin airport, i have done my check in to aerlingus office and got my boarding pass to manchester. The flight took off with more than 1h and 30 min delay, and because of this, by the time i reached jet airways office in manchester airport the check-in service was closed and i missed the flight to mumbai. We were 9 passengers in total, and we were directed to airlingus office in manchester airport. After a few hours, i was put into a flight to london and from london to mumbai, the flight operated by british airways. Finally, i got to mumbai with 12 h delay.
On the date of 19/12/2018 i have requested my check-in through edreams application for my return flight; check-in witch couldn't be done. So i have reached mumbai airport at around 20:00 – 20:30 hours, and presented to jet airways check-in area. Something was wrong in their system and they have sent me to air france checking area saying that the flight is operated by air france. Again in their system, something was wrong and they said to me that the flight mumbai to paris was ‘exchanged' by airlingus company and i have to go back to jet airways. I went back to jet airways and they said that they can't do anything and asked me to go back to air france and tell one of them to come and discuss with jet airways. After a discussion between air france and jet airways in the indian language, they have told me that they can't do anything and is aerlingus company fault that they have done this exchange of flights…. Whatever that means nobody wanted to explain. And the next step is to contact the aer lingus company. So, i went to help desk and the first call was to edreams around 23:05. I have spoken with mr. Karan from the edreams call center, explained him the situation. After he checked he told me the same thing that aerlingus messed up everything by making that ‘exchange’. Mr. Karan contacted aerlingus and had a discussion with nancy from aer lingus new york call centre and came back to me with the solution that nothing can be done. He sent me back to jet airways encouraged me that they will sort everything out…i went back to jet airways i asked to discuss with one of the managers.. They were to busy… mrs. Shalaka duty manager jet airways did not want to talk with me…i went back to help desk asking help with an international phone call to reach aerlingus and try to clarify the situation… it was impossible to make an international phone call... I have tried again edreams …i was put on hold more than 30 min…i gave up… i have tried to contact aerlingus from my on phone couple times…useless…i have called the airport manager mr. Dharnesh…himself tried to contact aer lingus from his own phone. Nobody answered.
So he advised me either i buy a fresh ticket and go home, with the hope that i will recover the money somehow, either if i decide to stay to let him know because in the morning he has to contact the consulate to report my case.
My flight was gone. Nobody offered me any solutions, any alternatives, none of the airline's company did care about my situation…i was feeling dirty, thirsty, tired, powerless, abandoned, angry and frustrated, and resignation feelings…initially, i said to myself i should stay and involve embassy in my case and see what happens…but i gave up and i bought a fresh ticket to london at 9 am in the morning. This is exactly what airline companies expect, buy a new ticket no matter if was their mistake they don't care about anyone… just money. It was almost 3 a. M. At that time so i bought my new ticket, ironically same jet airways company, with the hope that from london i will find easier flights to dublin. But pain is not gone, in london crazy. All flight booked no flight until next day afternoon. Airport operating system collapsed. Buy pure luck my friend from sligo could find and book a flight from london stansted to dublin with ryanair company the next day at 11 a. M. I was landed on london heathrow very tired and decided to stay in a hotel close to heathrow airport and travel again in the morning. I physically could not do more…in the next morning, i had to cross all london city from heathrow airport to stansted airport and get the flight back to dublin… and from dublin to get the train to sligo the town where i live.

It was a painful journey and i do not wish to anybody to go through all the emotional states that i have passed through…i don't even want to think if in my place was a family with 2 -3 children… and disrespectful that you get back from the airline's companies on your own money…

Now i have a few questions that i would like answers…
Who authorized airlingus to do the flight exchange? I didn't… they did not communicate with me; they didn't inform me in any way.
How come jet airways company allowed another company to exchanger the flight?
Why they don’t do anything about this?
Why edreams, or travel agencies, have no power to help you in these situations? What is the best thing to do in these situations?

I do not what excuses and apologies… i want justice, i want answers, i want who did the mistake to have a bit of dignity and admit it, and pay for it…that’s all i want…
