Jet Airways — lost baggage compensation | |
My daughter traveled from delhi to bangalore on 02 jan 2018. Her baggage could not be found at bangalore airport and was delivered later on 03 jan 2018 in the evening. Since she had important assignments at bangalore she was not only put to a lot of inconvenience but also had to make suitable purchases for appropriate attire during the meeting. On raising the matter with jet airways i was told an amount of rs 2000 would be refunded. Although the harassment she went through and the expenditure incurred was much more, yet we agreed for reimbursement of the said amount. A number of mails (Approximate 22) sin january to now, have since been exchanged and i was asked for various documents, all of which were mailed in response. It is really astonishing and vexing that an organisation of the status of jet airways has not yet reimbursed the amount. Despite the experience being harrowing it leaves jet airways in a very poor light. I have no options but to approach the consumer forum for he harrassement caused. The money was received by me in cash through there courier at 22:30 hours. Case was started in January thanks to your support I received the amount almost end of July.
