My parents were travelling from amritsar to raipur via delhi (connected flight) on 29th November, 2017 . When they reached Raipur (Chhattisgarh), luggages were missing, when enquired, they were told that there luggages are in delhi and haven’t been boarded to the connected flight to Raipur.! They were told to collect the luggage on 30th November, 2017 from the airport and were asked to call and enquire if the luggages have arrived or not.! Firstly, what sort of irresponsible act was this ? The luggage had important documents, and dress for marriage which was urgently needed. Secondly, the staffs showed such casual attitude towards it, showed no apologetic behaviour and weren’t concerned at all even when they were told that the luggages had important things in it.! Thirdly, airport is 15km away from my residential place, why should I take the pain of travelling 30km in an all for the careless act of their staff ? Why should I pay and suffer loss for their mistake ? Fifthly, why should I call and enquire ? They owe me duty of care to call and inform me about the arrival of my luggages. The responsibility of my luggages was tranfered upon them the very moment when luggages were checked in, so it’s their duty to tranfer that responsibility of luggage back upon me on my arrival, which they failed to and committed a breach of duty, care and responsibility for which I am filing a complaint against them ragarding the loss I suffered for their careless act.!
