Jet Airways — Missing baggage | |
Missing baggage is a regular feature with Jet Airways in the Middle East sector. The reason is that airlines give preference for cargo as it gives more revenues to the airlines. This happens mostly on Thursdays, peak season and other days when the flight is full. Jet is very much aware of it before we are boarding the flight, but will not inform us. Passengers will spend their valuable time until the belt stops and find that their baggage has not arrived. As soon as you contact the concerned Jet staff, they will ask you to fill up the form and will inform that the baggage will be reaching tomorrow and will be delivered to your home. Many of the people will be panicky and will come and collect it on the next day. Reputed airlines, if at all some baggage cannot be loaded will inform you beforehand and will be delivered to your home on next day. But, this missing baggage is not intentionally done by the airlines, whereas Jet is doing this intentionally to accommodate the cargo. Was this information helpful? | |
