I have been assured similarly and with faith I waited for almost a week. When I got no satisfactory response I followed up to find out a very scary reality.
More than the baggage, now I'm worried about my safety on board. It's very shocking to know that you can't trace the passenger who left his luggage and went. As per the info I get from the customer service, none of the details about the passenger are correct.
I urge you to take this incident as an eye opener and use all that you can to trace the person and my baggage. I wouldn't be wrong in suggesting you to take help of the CCTV surveillance footage from AAI to find out where did my baggage end up. I have already shared the description of my baggage, however, if any further info I needed, I'm more than willing to share. Additionally, a broadcast message could be sent to all onboard that day and hope to receive some clues.
On a separate note, please consider this email seriously. I'm ready to take all genuine measures to secure the possession of my item.
