Jet Airways — regarding not provide wheelchair | |
We named mr chakor kamble and mrs vimal kamble have booked two return tickets from mumbai to kathmandu dated 30/07/2017 by 9w-266 and kathmandu to mumbai dated 06/08/2017 by 9w-265. While booking the tickets we had made an request for wheelchair as wcob. We reached terminal 2, for kathmandu, as we get down from taxi, a person was waiting with wheelchair my wife vimal kamble sit on it, he had taken upto cheakin counter taken the bording pass, the lady on the cheakin said don't go without wheelchair. Afnter taking bording pass, jet airlines staff was standing outside the cheakin counter, they said that, get down from wheelchair and sit on the chair kept nearby, so she get down and sit on chair nearby, further he said that, your name is not in my list, just now cheakin counter lady had written with pen on bording pass. Then i had asked him what is the meaning of wcob, he said i don't know, but further he said that wait for some time we will provide wheelchair, after about 5 to 10 minutes one person came with wheelchair and asked my wife to sit on wheelchair so she had occupied wheelchair, on other wheelchair some other passenger was also there. One person had taken both the wheelchair in one hand each, done with immigration, security, after that said that wait for about 5 minutes, i will drop other passenger up to bording gate and come back, accordingly he came back in time, he had taken my wife upto bording gate and said that get down from wheelchair and sit on the chair near bording gate, i will come back after about one hour during the bording. But he didn't come back. We slowly occupied the seat. While return journey we got a very nice response on taking bording pass at kathmandu, the lady on the counter said that, sit here for 2 minutes, do not walk, wheelchair came done immigration and security and taken upto bording gate and said be on wheelchair, i will come at the time of bording, accordingly he came and taken upto aircraft. Air hostess and cabin crew had taken good care by providing small pillow etc and instructed let all passengers to get down, accordingly everyone had exited after that we come out from the air craft and asked for the wheelchair to the person of jet airlines who was with blue suit, he said that wait for some time i will call for wheelchair, further he said that it will take about 10 to 15 minutes wait nere the exit gate only, accordingly we had wait, after 15 minutes he came and said come little ahed wheelchair will come there so make us to walk up entry of tunnel and said this is the shortest way to go out you go now wheelchair will not come, we said that we can't walk. He disapeared. By taking the support of post and pillars we just started walking, during walking we asked so many airlines staff where to give complaint, but everyone said, go straight there is a counter as we reached there they said go to other counter, every one had replied like this only, we done immigration and came to baggage, our baggage was kept aside as we were too late and belt was stop. Finally we took the baggage and went to gvk information counter, that lady had taken us to jet airlines counter but no one was there. We came to custom book the taxi and came home.
