Jet Airways — Severe Inconvenience and stress caused by Jet Airways

I had booked from flight from Pune to Los Angeles for 31st Dec 2016 and was suppose to land in Los Angeles on 1st Jan 2017 (Jet Airways Confirmation: PMDZJJ; Ticket #[protected]
Please note - I had previously traveled from LA to Pune on Jet Airways ticket also on 11 Dec 2017 (ticket #[protected]

However, this journey turned out to be the worse journey I ever had to undertake in terms of sheer bad treatment, bad planning and harassment by Jet Airways and has caused me severe mental and physical stress to me. Also, I had to miss 2 working days of my office as I reached on 4th Jan 2017 instead of 1st Jan 2017.

Below is the summary of the sequence of events:
31st Dec 2016: I boarded to Jet Airways flight from Pune to Abu Dhabi on 31st Dec 2016 and was suppose to board my connecting flight from Abu Dhabi to Los Angeles on 1st Jan 2017 (reaching Los Angeles on 1st Jan 2017)
1st Jan 2017:
My flight from Pune to Abu Dhabi was diverted to Sharjah for few hours due to which I missed my connecting flight to Los Angeles. Reached Abu Dhai Airport at around 10:30 am local time.
There was utter chaos in the airport. No one willing to help and No assistance was provided. I was not given any information about when I would be given next flight to Los Angeles.
I was made to sleep on the floor on the first day and was told that for Indians we cannot provide hotels as Abu Dhabi doesn't give visa on arrival hence the airport cannot provide any accommodation.

2nd Jan 2017:
Woke up at 4 am and still there were no updates were given on my bookings by Jet Airways.
I was told that they cannot give me a direct flight to Los Angeles but can put me on a flgiht from Abhu Dhabi to San Francisco on 4th Jan 2017 and then another connecting flight from SF to Los Angeles on 4th Jan 2017.
I was told that my transit visa has been applied and will be ready by afternoon and I can be provided an accommodation. However, by evening it became clear that my visa still had not come and I was again not provided any accommodation and was told to sleep in a sleeping pod in airport.
3rd Jan 2017:
Met with the senior level airport authorities personnel as I was the only person who had spent 3 days in the airport and was physically drained out. They noted my complaint and were able to provide me with Emergency visa and a hotel till night.
4th Jan 2017:
Took the flight from Abu Dhabi to SF. However, in SF the connecting airlines to Los Angeles told me that Jet Airways has not correctly booked my tickets and they cannot give me a boarding pass. This was almost like someone had put salt on my wounds. I had to call the Jet Airways customer care from US; got them to connect with American Airlines to sort this out.
I would like to be adequately compensated as I had to suffer beyond a reasonable limit a person can tolerate.

Due to your Airlines:
I reached my destination 3 days later than actual date.
Missed 2 days of office in US (and 2 days worth of salary) which is more than my to and fro journey from LA to Pune via Jet Airways.
Severe Physical dehydration due to lack of sleep and no arrangements for accommodation
Faced severe mental stress due to uncertainty of bookings of connecting flights
I paid almost $2000 for my to and fro journey from LA to Pune but was given such horrible treatment.
