Jet Airways — ticket refund | |
Hello, firstly i'm tired of waiting for replies, you never reply promptly. I double booked a ticket flying from Mumbai to Bhuj leaving on the 19th of may and returning Bhuj to Mumbai on the 20th of June. The ticket PNR reference is IAFGUG. When i realised the mistake, i rang you to inform you within 1 hour of booking it. The person i talked to informed me to write to jetairways, which i did, and when not receiving an answer i wrote again, this time i received an answer. I wrote again because the next reply from you was to inform me of the penalty charges i would have to pay, this was 4 days later.As i understand it's your policy if the ticket is cancelled within 24 hours there's no charge, and as i rang and sent an email to you within 1 hour of booking, i understood there should be no penalty charge. I became so frustrated that finally i went to manage my booking on your site and cancelled it myself, of course your site explained there would be a charge of 58 british pounds, obviously this annoys me, however i went ahead and cancelled my ticket, frustrated from your lack of response, or more to the point lack o[censored]rgency in replying...so now everything is fine, ticket is cancelled only thing is that i had to pay charges, when really it should have been a free cancellation. I would like to know what your customer service team will do about this inefficient attitude, and more to the point what you'll do about the penalty charges i eventually paid for, when in fact it should be free.
