[Resolved] Jukaso Resorts Pvt. Ltd. — Request for refund | |||
Greetings, I would like to bring to your kind notice the issue that we had been facing with the jukaso resorts private limited. Recently we got a call from jukaso resort pvt. Ltd.Informing us about a gift vouchers that we have won through a lucky draw, so we went to one of their venue in sunder nagar, delhi on april 2, 2016. We were being informed that you will have to purchase one of our membership packages in order to be eligible for the vouchers & other benefits like stay in exotic domestic & international resort at prime locations across the globe. With all the pep talks we fell into their trap and purchased their membership scheme for minimum package of inr 1 lakh and paid them the signing amount of inr 30, 000/- by the name of mrs. Ittika popli on the table through credit card (Transaction id –[protected] which included membership documents (Including terms & conditions), receipt for the payment and gift vouchers worth inr 12, 000/-. After thoroughly going their documents along with the terms & conditions, we got to realize that there were lesser amount of membership packages available (Which we were not informed by their agents, also they didn’t disclose the age limit for the kids whereas in the document it’s mentioned that only kids under 12 years are allowed to accompany the parents as they will be considered as adult and two children below 12 years will also be considered as one adult. They didn’t disclose the cancellation charges amounting to inr[protected]/- (Including taxes) that will be implemented even in case of cancellation within a day but if the cancellation gets delayed by 10 days then 60% of the amount will be deducted. We had raised our request for cancellation of their membership on april 5, 2016 on the grounds of above mentioned major concerns that were not being disclosed prior to the purchase of their membership scheme. Also, in spite of several reminders for their acceptance towards our cancellation request through mail, they have reverted back on april 19, 2016 in lieu of the above mentioned terms & conditions they had strategically delayed the acceptance by more than 10 days so that they can deduct more than 60% of the amount.
