Karnataka Bank — 500 rs torn note got through atm

Hello sir, myself ashish khamkar from panvel. I got two torn note of rs 500 from karnataka bank karanjade branch atm panvel. So i was go to bank & told bank manager regarding this. Also told atm receipt printing not working so i show transaction message received on my no but the bank manager refused to exchange the notes saying that i was used sbi atm & karnataka bank not responsible for that. So what's my fault also rbi said any note can exchange in any public bank. Please help me & take strong action against the branch.
