I have been unfairly penalized by karnataka bank ltd, bsk iii stage,, bangalore -85 for ecs chque bounce where i hold a account for the last 20 years. The ecs was due on 10th of every month.in nov, i had deposited a chq to create sufficent fund for ecs on nov 7th. However apparently the deposit chq was not cleared due to internet connectivity of sbi bank due to which there was insufficient fund in my account. I have not received not any intimation in this regard from karnataka bank. When i went to check my balance, i was informed of the sbi cheque not cleared due to internet connectivity.
Later i have been charged inr 500 /- by karnataka bank ltd due to ecs bouncing.
This is completely unfair on the part of the customer where the cheque was not cleared due to bank problem due to which i am penalized.
Please have a window for the customer who has to unneccesarily go through the pain and pay penalty at both end.
When i went and spoke to karnataka bank officially, they did not understand my point and rudely told me that is my problem which i have to deal with. Was this information helpful? |
