With reference to the above, I hereby furnish the following facts.
1. I purchased e-tickets through your KSRTC AWATAR Online booking on 24/02/2023 for my journey from Bangalore to KUNDAPURA on 28/02/2023 and back from KUNDAPURA to Bangalore journey
on 01/03/2023.
2. While boarding for tripcode 1923CDPBNG on 01/03/2023 at Kundapura Bus stand Bus no KA19F3517, the conductor, after verifying my identity card, refused to allow me to board the bus as the passenger name in the ticket was wrongly retrieved by the system as 'Shravanthi Crystal ' which was my apartment name.
3. The authorities at kundapura talked to their officials at Bangalore and agreed to take me against paying cash Rs 890/- for the same seat no 10 and asked me to submit claim for refund along with copy of ticket as advised by their Bangalore office.
4. Since I have paid twice for the same tripcode 1923CDPBNG, same journey date 01/03/2023, same seat no 10 from KUNDAPURA to Bangalore, I request you to refund Rs 890/- twice paid at the earliest and oblige.
5. I am enclosing copy of cash ticket dated 01/03/2023 for Rs 890/- and UPI transaction details (UPI Tran ID[protected] dated 24/02/2023 for Rs 895/-.
6. There was system error while retrieving passenger name when I clicked my mobile no displayed by the system which I admittedly failed to notice.
7. While I am willing to provide any proof to support genuineness of my claim, I am sure, reputed organisation like you, would not like to profit out of system error and by twice charging for the same journey.
8. I also request you to rectify system error, if any, so that passenger is not inconvenienced in future due to the same.
Therefore, kindly refund Rs 890/- excess paid amount at the earliest.
