[Resolved]  Karvy — aadhar card address change - transliteration error in the request field.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have updated my Aadhar address using UIDAI official site (uidai.gov.in) by attaching a valid address proof. After 1-2 hours I am receiving an error message saying "Your request 0000/00504/51434 has been rejected due to: Transliteration Error in the Request Field." The translation to the native language is not correct, So I have corrected it and submitted the request. I still received the same error again and again. There is no specific reason why I am getting this error.

I have sent a couple of emails to helpdesk team but I haven't receive any response. Hence, I am registering a complaint here.

Kindly help me on this.

Below given request rejected due to "Transliteration error in the request". Correct transliteration of tower in telugu is టవర్, Please correct this error and raise the new request, we will process on priority.

I have changed/correct and submitted a new request (URN is 0000/00504/92842) and still, it got rejected.
Also please note it is not just Tower (టవర్), it is Towers (టవర్స్ ). I have corrected the same in the new request.

KARVY seems to be really pathetic. Its a wonder how when people go to an Aadhaar center and provide the same Poof of Address and enter the same details it is accepted without any issues.

This is a major road block in updating online . I am in a diff state from mother land and I do not the local language scripts. My request for address change has been rejected 5 times citing this error

Hi team,
I wanted to update the address in aadhar online.
I have shared the details in english language, but have recieved a message after 2 days that below given request rejected due to "Transliteration error in the request".
request number - 0000/00538/68971.

Have raised one more request 0000/00539/00747 again but not sure about the cause of the request failure.
Request you to assist in this matter.
