[Resolved] Karvy — investor support | |||||
The service provided by karvy computershare pvt ltd is absolutely terrible. Nothing gets resolved. They do not even read the emails/letters send to them. They routinely send back the standard message at the bottom of my email. This is obvious to me because a few days back i had sent an email using their email address "einward. [protected]@karvy.com" requesting for the rbi permission to credit to my nre account, a dividend draft from rain industries send to me by karvy. However the reply said that my signature does not match my specimen signature (My email did not have any signature at all). Also their reply talked about "non-receipt of dividend against the shares held by you in the aforesaid company", where as i was just requesting rbi permission to credit a dividend draft to my nre account. The letter was signed by inugurthy sravan kumar of corporate registry (Ref: sra/nrdw/rcm/20083/8651645 - dated 01/11/2017) Reply from karvy: "this is with reference to your letter regarding the above mentioned subject. On verification of your request we find that your signature affixed on the request letter differs from the specimen signature in our records, we are constrained to withhold the proceeding further." In order to act upon your request and to expedite our processing, you are requested to provide the following information/documents: 1. Fresh signature duly attested by your bank manager by mentioning your Account number held with the bank and an affidavit as per the format Enclosed. (To be executed on rs.100/- non judicial stamp paper). 2. Kindly provide copy of the pan card / voter id card / passport / Driving license of shareholder duly attested by notary public or bank Manager under their offical seal stating their full name and address Alongwith registration number. 3. Latest proof of residence (Copy of the electricity bill or telephone bill) 4. Fresh request letter for change of address / ecs bank mandate with complete details.
