[Resolved] Karvy — share certificates | |
I was allotted with 900 shares by jindal vijayanagar steel in 1995 and now it is known as jswl and the new folio # is folio no. :jsw0803592. The new sub-division share certificates was dispatched after a gap of 23 years to the same old address in the uae without confirming if the share holder is still in the same country or the address is changed. Now the certificates are missing and has not reached me. Since the share certificate was issued in 1995 i have not received any bonus or dividends. Was this information helpful? | |

Verified Support Nov 24, 2017 Karvy Customer Care's response Dear Sir/Madam, Please note that as per the Scheme of Amalgamation between the Company (JVSL), Jindal Iron & Steel Co. Ltd., (JISCO) & Jindal South West Holding Ltd.(JSWHL) and their respective members and creditors, sanctioned by Hon'ble High Court of Bombay and Karnataka, new certificate no.465948 for 26 shares were allotted and dispatched on 16/03/2005 without calling for the surrender of the share certificate of Jindal Vijayanagar Steel Ltd (JVSL). The old 600 shares of JVSL are treated as cancelled. Please note that the Company has fixed a Record Date as of January 05, 2017 for the purpose of sub-division/ stock split of Rs. 10/- per share of the Company into the shares of Re.1/- each. The new sub-division share certificate no. 2687708 for 260 shares (face value of Re.1/- each) issued & dispatched on 09/01/2017 vide Registered Air-mail no.RX[protected]IN. The same have not returned to us undelivered by the postal authorities. We have not received single letter from Shareholder for change of address and non-receipt of share certificate (face value of Rs.10/- each & Re.1/- each) on the above folio no.
