[Resolved] Karvy — unable to close demat account

Want to immediately close demat account but unable to do so because of one holding that is still attached to my account. It's an hdfc mutual funds.

I have been investing in hdfc mutual funds through my karvy demat account. Later i wanted to redeem all units of the mutual funds to be able to successfully close the account. But somehow 0.004 units of the fund is still present and i'm not able to redeem it.

It's been almost two months, i have been continuously following up with the relationship manager and customer care officers at karvy and also contacted the amc. But none of them were able to assist in redeeming the remaining units. It still shows up in my account.

As a result, my account closure request was rejected twice. I need to close my account immediately as it's a direct violation of my company policy.
