Kawasaki India — Delay in Product Delivery

Hello,

My name is Navin Bharti and I had booked a Kawasaki Z 800 with the "SNK Palm Beach Showroom" in Navi Mumbai. The final payment was completed on May 19, and the dealer had promised delivery within 30 days, which would have been June 19 at the latest. However, I have been led on and I am still waiting to receive the bike.

The dealer has been promising me a new delivery date for the last 40 days despite the fact that I have taken time out of my schedule to visit him and follow up multiple times.

I'm no longer sure if I can wait any longer for the bike to be delivered, as due to recent developments, I have to relocate to Bengaluru by the end of this month. The dealer last committed to have the bike delivered by August 5, but I'm not very confident that will happen.

If the bike gets delivered this week, well and good, but I would require the Dealer to refund the RTO & octroi charges I have paid to register the bike in Mumbai. If the vehicle had been delivered in time, I would have been fine with handling the charges, but because I have been forced into such a situation, I would need to get the bike registered in Bengaluru.

In case the delivery is missed yet gain, which seems very likely given the chain of events, I will need all the money I've paid to be refunded.

The dealer will need to reimburse me for the interest I have paid so far to the bank on the loan amount of 5, 00, 000/- and compensate for the interest I missed on my down payment of 3, 70, 034/- (as per standard Savings Interes rate)
