I wish to register a serious complaint against KFC Outlet located at Oberon Mall, Cochin, Kerala for selling unsafe food that caused severe food poisoning.
On Sunday, 1st June 2025 at around 2:19 PM, I visited the above-mentioned KFC outlet along with a friend. We placed an order for:
All Chicken Box, and
Zinger Burger Box
I was the only one who consumed the burger. While eating the burger, I immediately noticed a sour and unusual taste, which seemed off. A few hours later, I developed severe symptoms of food poisoning including stomach cramps, vomiting, and weakness.
I had to be hospitalized and was under medical supervision. I have been on medical leave for 3 days and am still not fully recovered. This incident has caused:
Health issues
Loss of work days and income
Medical expenses
Mental and physical distress
This is a clear case of negligence in food quality and hygiene by the outlet, which is a serious concern for public health and consumer safety.
Relief Sought:
Immediate action and investigation against the concerned KFC outlet.
Compensation for medical expenses and income loss.
Strict enforcement of food safety compliance at the outlet.
Assurance that such negligence will not happen in the future.
