I am Bhavana Bandekar aka Prabha Rao. I am a senior citizen from Bangalore and have a grievance against KiNKiN, a company which claims to deliver cakes online. This is to bring to your notice that this company has not refunded my money for the past 2 months. I had ordered for a Christmas cake on Dec 24, 2023 at 10.33 pm (payment vide paytm) and this was to be delivered to Palakkad. The company at no time mentioned that they had problems with delivery to the said address. The delivery was supposed to happen between 7 am to 9 am. I contacted the friend to check if they had received the cake and they said that they had not got anything. I tried reaching out to KinKin through their chat but no reply. Then I received this message at 2 pm on Dec 25, 2023. The company should have foreseen the rush on the festival day and not accepted the order at all. Kindly go through all the messages and information i have sent to you and help me get this money back. Order acceptance is subject to the availability of products, delivery areas, and time. The order may not be accepted or the order might be canceled after assessing the circumstances and communicating with the customer. In such cases, the full amount will be refunded in the customer’s wallet or bank account. Only one attempt delivery will be made. Kindly note, Please confirm the availability of the recipient before selecting the time slot. If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, a second attempt will not be made and the order will be marked as canceled. No refund will be made in such cases. The refunds are only initiated once the customer sends an E-mail that where the refund has to be done Kinkin wallet or bank account.
