Today on 20th May, i was heading back to my place in Ballygunge from howrah station in morning. I booked an ola just after reaching the station. The cab driver told me he cancelled the ride and he will take my directly. I was fine with it but i said i won't be paying anything extra for it. He was fine with it. When i reached the taxi booth, i told him i won't pay extra. He said okay. While leaving the booth, he said to pay 70rs for parking. I wasn't aware that they will add parking charge to the fare because in ola and uber its already included. This has become a scam there and these taxi drivers does the same with everyone. They book the cabs online, and while we reach the booth, they cancel it and ask to pay extra. Was this information helpful? |
