Today on 20th May, i was heading back to my place in Ballygunge from howrah station in morning. I booked an ola just after reaching the station. The cab driver told me he cancelled the ride and he will take my directly. I was fine with it but i said i won't be paying anything extra for it. He was fine with it. When i reached the taxi booth, i told him i won't pay extra. He said okay. While leaving the booth, he said to pay 70rs for parking....

Serious complain against cab driver
I booked a cab after watching kit vs srh ipl match on[protected], as I was returning to my home I booked a cab at 500 for only myself but can driver use his cab aa pool and refused to lower the charged as it was a pool services and not a private booking

On 26 December 2021(today) we travelled from station to mento park.My grandfather forgot to get his tyre bag(without which he cant sit properly) Is there any chance to get it back?...

Excess meter reading

I travel five days a week from saltlake to kasba and back by either yellow taxi or no refusal white cab.
Fare varies from 130 to 160, for the same distance and same time of the day. Raising the point with the driver causes more problem because of their very rude behaviour.
Rs 40 or 50/- extra from the actual fare may not be a problem for an occasional passenger but when person like me needs to travel twice everyday then it certainly is a concern.
I am not providing any cab number because this is almost everyday's
Affair.
I just want to know is there any system of surprise checking of their meters?
Or any number where i may call instantly?
Please as an ardent believer of our system i will be waiting for your action which will help a regular customer like me.

Faulty taxi meter

Today (13th june, 2016) we availed a taxi (Vehicle number: wb04d8741) from ajaynagar taxi stand at 8:00 pm to jyangra ghoshpara. Usually it takes around 230 rupees, but today it took around 320 rupees. I was checking at the meter, within 800 meter the meter reading increased by 13.5 rupees when the usual rule is after 2 km, for each extra 1 km the reading should increase around 12.5 rupees.
In this regard, i hope the authority will take necessary steps against the vehicle so that public never face such harassment.

Incorrect Taxi fare

I boarded taxi no. WB19A 7182 today morning from South City Garden (B.L.Shah Road, near mahabirtalla) to my office at Alipore. The normal meter reading for which is 29 (in regular traffic) and fare comes to Rs 70 everyday. Today as well the traffic was normal and it was the same route as usual. But the meter reading came to 42 and taxi driver demanded Rs 105. When I refused to give the extra money he started shouting and misbehaved. I had to give him the money. This is quite unacceptable. Please look into the matter as this is becoming habit of some taxi drivers, they think that whatever they do no body is there to stop them.

I have traveled by a TAXI (Cab No - WB04A-5947) [Kolkata yellow public taxi transport service] on dated 18th April, 2010 around 10.45 am from Howrah Railway Stantion to Golfgreen area (Kolkata). The meter reading after the journey was horrible and it read around 25KM which is almost 10 Km extra distance and whereas the taxi had followed the normal regular route which normally covers around a maximum of 15-17km. Certainly the bill was around...
