Ref: Ticket #035258, date of travel 18/05/2014. I am a regular user of Volvo bus between Mysore-Bangalore and Bangalore-Mysore. I had lodged a complaint by email on 19th, nothing has happened.
On 18/05/2014, I boarded a Volvo bus from Bangalore to Mysore which left around 11 am. I am not aware of the bus number, but it was the only Volvo that left for Mysore at that time.
I take the Volvo because it covers the distance faster and also because there are no stops for coffee, etc ( waste of at least 15-20 minutes). The driver stopped the bus at a roadside dhaba for 15-20 minutes. When questioned, the driver answered rudely and said he wanted coffee as he was feeling sleepy. He also said he did not stop at a hotel (as if that was any consolation). Even a few other passengers complained orally to the driver that there was a delay of 1/2 hour.
The bus reached Mysore at almost 3 pm, a travel time of 3.30 hours.
As a passenger who is paying Rs.260 in a Volvo, I do expect to reach the destination at the earliest. If this is the service I get in a Volvo, I might as well travel by a Rajhamsa or a Mysore Mallige bus by paying less.
Kindly take action against such Volvo bus drivers and ensure that passengers get good service. Was this information helpful? |
