Worst Service Ever - ICICI Bank - Especially the Swiping Machine - David is the worst agent who installed the swiping machine and he never told us the charges for the machine. There was no paper work that was given to us. We had to sign some papers and they installed the machine. So far from 4 months of installing the machine, the profit I got from swiping clients' cards is hardly 2000 whereas I had to spend almost 2000 to 3000 per month for the rent and low usage cost and late settlement fee. I got to know the late settlement charges, usage cost or rather the rent and wireless GPRS charges per month from the customer service associate. Isn;t it mandatory to inform the client about all this before installing the machine? I really want to file a case against David and probably even ICICI for hiring such irresponsible guys. Moreover Isn't it mandatory to give a detailed paper work mentioning the service charges applicable for everything? Even if you have paid the installation charges it is the least amount compared to the monthly loot these guys do from your account. Isn't it ridiculous to have Late Settlement Fees, when the bank has our money until we do the settlement and for having our money they charge late settlement fee of 500 rupees or 0.5% of the transaction amount whichever is higher. I swiped the card for 400 rs and settled late, not knowing these charges. The profit for 400 Rs business is hardly 60 Rs whereas I had to pay 500 for late settlement. How else should I show my frustration or anger? Banks can make money but they should not loot from people like this.
