I visited Lakme Academy, 7 camac Street on 30 th October 2021, and spoke to the office regarding admission to the course of Cosmetology.
They conveyed me that there is a certain discount going on in that course and though I informed that I will not be able to join the classes immediately, they suggested me to pay a token amount as an advance to book a seat, and as and when I resume classes, I would pay the discounted price for the course.
I paid a token of 5000 rupees, and I was promised that the money will be refunded incase I fail to join the course
I visited Lakme again on 20 th April 2022, asking for the refund of 5000 rupees as I was unable to join the course eventually.
On visiting the office, they asked me for my Bank A/C details and said they would refund through RTGS or NEFT and it would take 1-2 working days for the money to
reflect in my account.
It has been 7 days since. I have whatsapped and called them twice since 20th April asking for the refund, since no money have been reflected back to my A/C. I received no response, and my calls have not been responded. I perceive this behavior as very unprofessional and unethical. The person concerned is Mukund Subba.
