The company had booked transportation of my motor cycle from Lucknow to Arakkonam. The service they charged for was pick up and drop i.e they would pick up the bike from my address in Lucknow and deliver it to my address in Arakkonam. However, they outsourced the job to 'Gati KWE' packers and movers as a godown delivery rather than delivering it to my address.
I am an Officer in the Indian Navy and my base is under lock down due to the ongoing covid pandemic.My bike is lying there in the Gati godown and I'm unable to take it.
However, I had paid for pick up and drop and drop precisely because I knew this problem would arise.
The company officials seldom pick up my calls or answer my texts and are now asking for further amount in order to make a further booking with Gati Packers from the Godown to my delivery address.
It is an extremely sad state where I feel extremely cheated and helpless.
