    Hi, I've online gift vouchers for landmarkonthenet.com; however website has been shut down. The information available on website is useless since no one replies email addressed to [protected]@landmarkonthenet.com and multiple phone calls to their mentioned phone numbers remain unanswered.         I have a gift card issued by Landmark bookstores. They have been closing down all their shops in Chennai and most of the other places. I am not able to use my gift card though it is valid till April 25th. I have been visiting their shops in Chennai, Delhi etc only to find them closed and also sending mails to them. I even got a reply from their accounts (Mr Sivaraman Balakrishnan) that they are processing my repayment.. also after several reminders an other mail on April 9th that they have sent payment by courier...but nothing has been happening... not even having courtesy to respond to my repeated follow up... not expected this treatment from a group venture of TATA! Don't know what to do? Only incurring more expenses and spending time on this follow up...Can any one suggest me any alternative to en-cash the amount? Or, is it to be written-off??!!

          Purchased a Samsung fone from this portal on 11.10.14. On 16.10.14 I am informed that goods are out of stock and shall receive my refund in next 5-7 days and now on 23.10.14 iam again informed that my "refund is under process" and shall receive it next 5-7 days - this are beaytiful NON BANKING FINANACE SCHEMES developed by these companies. When everything is online the purchase should have been automtically blocked or alternatinely order rejection/refund should have been instatly I feel this portal is a fraud

              Dear,
              I had ordered a Book+VCD for kids on Landmarkonthenet.com. (Order No. LM[protected] 71443) But VCD was NEVER delivered !! I have been calling[protected]. This is an STD call for me. I have spent over 100 Rs just on phone call (the call gets disconnected every time !!) and also mailed then daily on the [protected]@landmarkonthenet.com every day since a month now and they just do NOT care to reply.

                Dear Sir,

                I made a purchase of a book from the online shopping website - www.lanmarkonthenet.com - on the 2nd of May and the order number for the same is Order No.: LM[protected], during the purchase the shipping time was mentioned as 2-3 days.

                After 6 days I received an email from the website that they have certain problem and the book will be delivered on 11th May. When the book did not come on the designated date, I logged on to their website on the 12th and sent a mail asking about the delay.... NO response yet!

                Today I called them on the number mentioned on their website[protected] and thrice I was disconnected right after the initial message. I tried later but again the call was picked up and disconnected promptly before I could start. Fifth time I called and again call was picked up and put on MUTE for 3 minutes and then released ( i could hear people talking) and then again my call was disconnected. I tried again for the sixth time and again I was put on MUTE and disconnected.


                I am really not at my wits end on how to contact them and understand what is wrong with the shipment ( order status - shows "being Processed"). They do not keep their set promises, they do not reply to emails and their phone contact option is infuriating... They absolutely have no idea what customer is !!!

                Please help me resolve this issue.

                  Companies like landmark have made new ways of doing business “online” by fraudulently pricing their products on the internet and then refunding the payment saying landmark has the rights to cancel the order in case of price variations as per their policy.

                  What are the customer rights is a vague question mark with internet business booming and companies like landmark getting away with wrong pricing of products and building brand name on the net.

                  I had placed an order LM[protected] on landmarkonthenet.com for a phone "Sony Xperia Ion" and was waiting for delivery when i got a call a day later from the customer care at landmark saying the price mentioned on the internet was a technical error by their end in the system and the price of the product is actually 2 times what i had paid. They wanted to know if i would be willing to pay the additional amount or would accept a refund. 2 days later they initiated a refund without my knowledge.

                  On writing to them continuously they came back with a gift coupon worth Rs.100/-

                  My question is what kind of systems do they have?

                  Are all Customers at the mercy of the company? and even if you feel the deal is worth buy, company can change the price as they like and bill customers a higher price.

                    I ordered the Manorama year book 2012 from the online store www.landmarkonthenet.com on 3 march 2012,i have made the online transcation already and paid the amout of the book..After not getting the book for more than 1 month and complaining again and again I never recieved any book. They sent mails that you are going to get the book in next 48 hrs.. and like that... but i never received the book.I kept calling them daily 2-3 times a day but those people were not taking my order delivery seriously ,out of frustration i finally requested the agency to cancel my order and return my money back.....now its more than 10 days that those people are not returning my money back.

                    I fear that these people are fraud and will not return my money back...kindly help
                    i ordered a book on landmarkonthenet.com on march 28th 2012. my order no: LM[protected] and i paid the money through debit card. they didn't delivered the book even after two weeks have passed, when i called them they said the book is out of stock we'll deliver with in a week. the same reason they said when ever i made a call to them even after 1 month and on april 28th they have sent a mail that the order has been dispatched and delivered with in a week and given some courier reference number to track the order, when i track with the reference number they provided at the courier website it said reference number not found, when i said the same to them they replied b'coz of some problem it has been returned to them. again after a week they have sent a mail, now given some different reference number, but it also doesn't work. at last on may 25th they sent a mail that order was cancelled since the book is out of stock and we'll return money with in 5-7 days. now it has passed more than 15days still i didn't got my money back. they are cheating in the same way, it has happened to many people. they are not responding well when i called them. please take necessary action regarding this

                      I placed an order on the website 'landmarkonthenet.com' to purchase a book. I chose for paying by cheque and I sent the cheque of the required amount to the address given on the website. Courier company says that the cheque has been delivered and my bank account states that the cheque has already been cleared on 30th Dec '11. But still the company where I placed my order shows me that they have not received the payment yet and I've not received the product.

                        I Had ordered a Book on the website (landmarkonthenet.com) on the 5th of February Order Number : O[protected],

                        They initial said it would take 25 days to deliver as it it supposed to be imported, as a followup mail i mailed them on the 17th,

                        They replied back stating "We would like to inform you that the book “The Holy Qur'an: Text, Translation and Commentary” is an import book have a shipping lead time of 14-21 working days. We are importing from our US Warehouse and will be dispatched on or before the due date (1-Mar-11)."

                        well after that i mailed them if they can keep up their word, they replied back stating "We regret to inform you that due to some unforeseen circumstances from the US Warehouse end, your order O[protected] is getting delayed. It will be dispatched by next week. We request you to kindly bear with us. " that was on Feb 28,
                        after a week i replied asking the status.....they replied "We regret to inform you that due to some unforeseen circumstances from the
                        US Warehouse end, your order O[protected] is getting delayed.
                        It will be dispatched by next week. We request you to kindly bear with us".

                        on March 8 they say ...This is in regard with the Order No. O[protected] for the title “TE The Holy Qur'an: Text, Translation and Commentary ".

                        Please accept our sincere apology for the delayed in delivering the title mentioned above due to multiple factors.

                        Our logistics partner at the US had lost their License at US and certain consignments were held for some time in transit and after the consignments reached Chennai, there is a delay in the process due to a change in the software system of our customs department and the process of clearing has pretty slow since past more than 45 days.

                        You could also check the below links for the news for your reference, this situation is completely beyond our control & we have been promised by our clearing agents that this issue will get sorted by 20th March .

                        Again after that on April 18th they send out an email...

                        This is in regard with the Order No. O[protected] for the title "The Holy Qur'an: Text, Translation and Commentary"
                        We thank you personally for bearing inconvenience with us. We understand there has been a good delay in delivery this order which has been due to multiple factors.
                        Our Logistic Partner has lost license in US to export books to India.
                        Due to some custom issues we could not import from our US Warehouse.
                        We have been forced to look for an alternate vendor, now we have made a tie-up with UK based Warehouse.
                        Since there are many formalities to be completed, it will consume some time to get the books from there.
                        We have received the feedback from the UK based Warehouse as your order is procured and will be shipped.
                        Your order will be dispatched in another 25-30 days from our end.
                        We apologize for the inconvenience caused request you to kindly bear with us.

                        We had placed an order for the product (The Design of the UNIX Operating System) on March 01 2013

                        with landmarkonthenet.com but the product is not yet shipped from their side.

                        Please tell us if you are not able to ship the product in committed date why you people make false

                        promises that the product will be shipped in few days.
                        i had order a mobile micromax x288.but they send me wrong product when i receive and open the parcel then i found it is mmx x227.i call the customer care after 2 hours they replied me.i return the parcel i spend 315 courier charge own pocket.after 7 day i get refund my mobile price but courier charge of 315 rs is not provided by landmark they send me gift voucher of same price.
