Recently I got a mail from Mr. Rajiv Mehta. Mo. No. [protected]. And Called me for an Interview in L&T, saying that, my profile has been selected online and my batch no. is L&T-021 and asked me to deposit Rs.8900 at PNB as a security deposit which will be refundable.

I checked at many places and at last I found that its a Fake letter.

well, I dont know these people will get caught or not, but I'm surely gonna register a complaint in Police Station.

Note : If someone get such type of letter plz contact to your nearest police station.

i have got a mail today..which i don't know if it is true or not.. i got a pdf file attached to the mail that they are offering a job for a reputed company and they ask to attend for interview by paying some amount in Punjab national bank as deposit and it is refundable.

and the date of interview is 1st august. please make me clear of this as soon as possible..if i can trust or reject the offer.

as i am a Mba fresher, I have posted my resume in some job portals.
as i received a mail in the name or Larsen & Toubro Limited, i was asked to pay a sum of Rs.8,880 to Punjab National Bank as security deposit which is refundable one,
and i was also told that i ll be getting the flight tickets before interview dates.
i got a doubt on this, and called up the Larsen & Toubro...

sir,i ve got mail informing that my profile has been selected for annual direct selection of candidates through direct interview in larsen and torbou limited..They have given my code number as L&T-03. I ve supposed to pay refundable security amount by cash Rs.8750/- in bank of India.I hap paid the cash amount and when i called to the company they are saying that they hadn't posted any notification.The given contact person in mail...

Funds are supposed to be known by the people who manage them.
It is said that people like M Venugopal who was the Fund manager at Tata Mutual Fund did not manage properly.
This why Tata’s two funds - Tata Capital Builder and The Tata Service Industries Fund – has earned the dubious distinction of getting listed among underperforming funds. We know Mr M Venugupal was managing them.
According to fearless journalist Sucheta Dalal’s Moneylife survey Tata Capital Builder, launched in September 2006, has underperformed the benchmark.
The Tata Service Industries Fund has done even worse. It has given a return of -12% in the last ten years.
In view of this, it has now become imperative for investors to be much more careful than ever before.
Mr Venugopal has now moved over to L&T Mutual Fund and considering his track record, I would like to alert my fellow investors to beware of the funds managed by him.

On June 9th, BBMP and BDA officials came and demolished the boundary wall of L&T South City apartment complex and made the East-West 60 feet road public,when the matter is very much sub-judice.Their reason was that it was for road widening.

The officials did not have the orders and refused to show the order copies to us. There were 100 policemen along with the BBMP/BDA officials. The policemen who are meant for public security were pointing to their muscle/gun strength when the women and senior residents were asking the reasons for this unlawful and illegal action.

Our L&T Estate manager was happy to guide the officials to the areas which were marked for the demolition, claiming that notices for this road widening work were put in the notice board. Not a single resident of L&T South City had/has seen such a notice.

What happened on June 9th was a total goonda-gardi, where the developer Dinesh Ranka along with L&T company and government officials showed their power over the law abiding citizens.

Its a shame that a company like L&T can lower itself to such standard and doesn't mind cheating people.

L&T, one of India's Bluechip company has dived to the lowest level possible in corporate governance. South city, off Bannergatta road is their prestigious flagship residential project started in the mid 90's. while advertising and selling the apartments, they glossed over the various ameneties including a park, children's play area, community centre, shopping complex etc. during the intervening years, along with Dinesh Ranka (the landowner), they have quitly relinquished 12 acres of the original 34 acres of the property to the BDA.

the above 12 acres includes the park, children's play area and a 60 foot road cutting across the apartment complex. last tuesday, without any prper work order and notice to the owners association, BDA, BBMP demolished the entire front compound and took over the 60 foot road and park area. this has exposed the entire apartment complex to outsiders including a huge slum on the other side of the park.

the entire complex consisting of 2000 apartments are without a secure walled compound putting at risk the safety of the people and children in the complex. this high handed behaviour between L&T, Ranka along with BDA and BBMP shows the complete corrupt situation in our country.

request for a strong action against L&T, Ranka and the BDA/BBMP. they need to be pulled to cournt and strcit action taken.

Developer has gone ahead and relinquished 12 acres of shared land of the total 34 acres of the L&T South City Apartment of which I 'm one of the owners. My flat no. is B6-104. This has been done without taking my consent. As per the sale agreement dated 30.05.2005 the I 'm the shared owner of the 34 acres of land along with independent owner of my flat B6-104 having area of 1330 square feet.

Developer L&T...

A promise by L&T while selling the property talks of a park and a 60 ft road for the use of its residents, now they have taken away the park as well as the road (under relinquishment to BDA), leaving us with just high rises and 30 ft connecting roads. With close to 2000 apartments, the children from South City complex have no options to play save for a solitary basketball court!!! Even the sale deed talks of 35 acres of land whereas 12 has been already relinquished

Larsen & Toubro Ltd. when selling flats told prospective buyers that the area of the proposed property was 34 acres.
Yhe sales brochure showed parks, community center, broad roads, boundary wall etc. as part of the community.
The park etc was developed by them before sale of major number of flats.
Senior citizens like me liked the ambiance and promised quite environment, and open areas where we could go for a walk etc.
Thinking that Larsen & Toubro is a reputed company, to be trusted, me and many other families like me spent our hard earned money to invest in flats.
The sale deed also showed total property to be around 34 acres.
Many years after we moved in we are now told that 12 acres including parks, open areas and roads have been surrendered to BDA.
They and land owner Ranka have been using their money and political clout to make us accept their LIES.
They have colluded with Government authorities to demolish the main gate and boundary wall and opened up the main road which by the way leads nowhere, not bothering about the Court stay order and safety of the residents.
Is this how a so called large corporate house expected to behave.
They are nothing but thieves.

Larsen & Toubro Ltd ( L&T ) in collusion with the owner of the property Dinesh Ranka have defrauded the residents of L&T South City , Bannerghetta Road , Bengaluru by handing over 12 acres of land , including a road and a park , within the South City complex to muncipal authories without a written order, when the case is still pending in court . This was done on 09.06.11 under heavy police protection by demolishing an existing boundary wall . The company needs to be brought to book for this brazen attempt to browbeat residents of their legitimate right .

We trusted L&T brand name and good in infrastructure booked my flat in 2003. When the sale deed was executed, it was written entire complex is gated with 34 acres & 6 guntas of land/ play area and alll that and is for the enjoyment for the owners. We were later came to know (after moving in to our apartment - via apartment owner associations) that that the developer has relinqueshed about 12 acres of land to BDA.

Residents association is fighting it in courts about this fraudulent stand of L&T. But on 9th June 2011, L&T got the BBMP, BDA and Police into South city compound and razed down the compound walls and threw open the main road and park to the public use. When asked the officials didn't even provide any order from government or courts to do so. This is day light cheating by L&T. L&T is saying that the apartment owners were aware of relinquishing of 12 acres of land when they were buying it. It is compltely false.

I wont recommend anyone to L&T South City. Fellow consumers please beware.

L&T has no corporate ethics and we have NOT expected such an act by a so-called reputed Indian MNC???

I purchased a flat in L&T South City based on the false promisses by their Marketing team and brochure that showed a 12 acre park and huge road as part of property. The sale deed also contained 34 acre land, including the park as South City. Now, BBMP, BDA claim that this land was relenquished to them in 1996. How a company can cheat even on a registered document about the land that never was part? The surprise is a company as big as L&T does not even have maintenance accounts available for scrutiny. The maintenance of the premises is sub-standard and construction filthy (may be the company itself has mediocre staff, so leave it out). I bought in this gated community only for security and lung space that the huge open land provided. Now, both are gone as the compound walls have been bulldozed down by BBMP and no lung space also as the 12 acre park is now a BBMP office. Very sad that a reputed (?) company like L&T also turned out to be as cheats as local goons and land mafia. I feel unfortunate and helpless with the highhandedness and utter disrespect to their customers that L&T is showing. I demand a responsible solution from L&T to the crime they have commited and worthty to be booked under law (if they manage not to pay bribes and get away).

I bring your kind attention that I served in Larsen &Toubro Ltd(L&T) for three years.The resignation letter had been given by me on 3rd Feb2011 and also I got the site clearance where I was working.But still now I have not my PF amount.When I am asking the HR manager about my PF amount , he is demanding three months basic salary amount of my salary.


Please suggest me what to do.
