I am filing this complaint against Layered Luxury for delivering a misrepresented skincare product and completely ignoring all attempts to resolve the issue.
I placed an order recently, and the item delivered was entirely different from what was advertised. The issues include:
• packaging completely different from the product shown on their website
• a paper label pasted manually on the tube
• no batch number, barcode, MRP, or manufacturer details
• incorrect information printed on the external packaging
• “30 Days Money Back Guarantee” printed on the box but not honoured
• no return option available anywhere on the website or order page
I emailed the merchant immediately with photo and video evidence.
There has been no response at all.
After this, I found several similar complaints online where customers received incorrect or fake products and were completely ignored by the brand.
Google Pay support also confirmed that the merchant is unresponsive and that this needs escalation.
This clearly appears to be a pattern of consumer deception, not a one-off incident.
This complaint is not just about the money — it is about the safety of customers and the repeated misconduct of this seller.
Brands like this should not be allowed to continue operating:
• their website should be reviewed for misleading practices,
• accountability should be enforced, and
• action should be taken to protect consumers from being scammed in the future.
