Lic India — Policy Related Delay and Processing Issues | |||||
I have applied for a Term Insurance in mid-tune 2021 and till now by end of Aug, LIC India did not process my proposal after paying premium already in the month of June. This delay is entirely because of inability of LIC departments to cope up with new technical advancements and centralization happened at their end. LIC is not responding to customers on any emails and they do not have any office who can resolve the issue in Pune as everywhere, every manager of LIC is just saying process is moved centrally and we do not have any information and control on this case. After further discussion with LIC officials, they confirmed more than 8-10 thousands of such cases and issues pending with LIC which they cannot give justice on customer support and satisfaction. In this mean time I am not having any life cover due to problems @ LIC and who will be responsible for any mishap happens unfortunately as after paying premium as well and after 3 months of follow up I have no information and confirmation from LIC side. Requesting government officials and finance / insurance (IRDA) department to focus on this issue because in India LIC is the hope for Indians and if we see such behaviour in such big esteemed organisation which means it's really shameful and bad situation for INDIA and INDIANS.
